Can you do me a favor?

It's along the same lines as 'Can you do me a favour?', but I always get "Can you drive me somewhere?". I have a sibling who doesn't drive, and sometimes it feels like they see me as a personal chauffeur.

That, and "What does [blank] mean?". I'm not a walking dictionary!

One last one: "Are you two related?". No, we're complete strangers who just happen to be best friends and look exactly the same (I have an identical twin).

The most common I get are about my gender, then about my characters sexuality and which characters in a pairing are seme/uke. =_=

I get asked if I can do custom (name random thing). Usually nothing like anything I am showing at any given event or on my Instagram.

I just got done doing an event where I was selling prints and demoing digital painting. This guy in a polo (for me it's always guys in polos) asked if I do commissions.

Already getting odd vibes, I said sometimes, depending on time and subject. [ Background info: All of the prints I had for this event where of cats, birds, plants, and women.]

He then launches into a description of an image he was looking to get made for what I understand was his start up. And says he needed an image that was probably no more than two colors and only yay big. [He held up his hands to show how big] And it needed to be of a dock on fire.

He assured me it wouldn't be too hard, and wouldn't take very long at all.

When people ask me "Can you draw [Insert Request Here]?" It's really annoying. But, you can't really blame those people, because they don't understand the struggle of being a creator. It takes a LONG time to draw something well.

So just ask them to pay you .

Just because I'm not interested in it doesn't mean it's bad it just means I'm not your demographic. Stop subbing just to get subbed back, if i like what you make i will naturally sub you back. I prefer people who generally want to read my stuff.

another thing that annoys me is when people send me messages with links to other artists they think are better than me.
