What do you do with your fan art?

Something I never expected to get whenever I started my comics was the idea of receiving fan art, and while I do share it them through Twitter and my page, I just don't feel right keeping them in a file on my computer, and I tried to make stickers out of them, but they're already getting worn out after only like a month which sucks cause I really like them. Anyone have any creative and fun ideas to do with fan art/art trade items? I just want to make these things feel more special in someway.

I always like to keep my fanart in a special folder to organize it all. I also like to make sure I know exactly who drew the art for me, so I get the names of the people and find their pages (whether they're on Tapas or elsewhere).

My main goal is to have a moment where I post the fanart for readers to view(along with the link to said fanart or just to the art of that person). That way, my readers are not only encouraged to send fanart, but they're also exposed to other amazing creators out there.

Keeps the community going in a full circle!

I print them and stick them to the wall where I see it everyday as a reminder that there are readers waiting for the next page. ^u^

I was asking myself the same question, and I decided to do a "fanart corner" in one of my comics - I pick one fanart and feature it at the end of an episode, with credit and links.

Here's an example -

I made sure to ask the creators if they're okay with me posting their work, and I was happy to hear that all of them agreed to it. It's also beneficial for other Tapas creators who drew me something, because I recommend their comics while at it.
It also encouraged a couple of readers to draw their first fanart for me as well It was sweet of them

I got the idea from the mangas I've bought, the authors featured fan letters, answered the fan questions and added fanart with some commentary at the end of a volume, which I found cool back then (and still do).
It seemed like a good idea to do it myself. I decided that one piece per episode with my own comic page will be the best option (than one full episode loaded with fanart only, for a couple of reasons).

I made a gallery series for Life of an Aspie called Susan's Secret Stash where I have an episode dedicated to all the fan art I've received from other creators.

I save them under the creators name, and I'm gonna do a showcase for them eventually. Send links out if the people have a page.

Until then I just stare at them and get giddy.

I put every piece of fanart I get in a folder on my laptop but anything I receive that falls under rule 34 gets put in a different folder in the gallery labled "WHY"
I only did this once so far but I plan to showcase more fanart at the end of episodes every now and then.

I horde it and look at it on days where trying to live my day to day life makes me want to rip my eyelashes out because someone out there cared about my work enough to give me something lovely.

I only got that picture like three days ago. However I might have come to the solution of just making an album with a collection of all the things I've received this far to have as a nice keeps sake. I just think it's a nice and simple way to make each thing people have taken the time to make for me and just make them feel more special.

I feel like I would look at them when I was down to remind me that people care enough to work on something for me. It seems like something that would be super motivating. I would also more than likely save them to make a page dedicated to just fanarts occasionally so everyone reading can see them. <3333

I have a folder in my computer for all the fan art people do for me :3
In the older website I used to upload webcomics, there was an special section called "gallery" and I upload every fan art to that section ^^

I upload it to the guest art section of my comic and keep it in an album on my phone

I have a "hella rad folder" on my computer for any fanart/trades/commissions where the file title is the creators name so I don't forget. If they've shared them to social media, I'll reshare it however I can (reblog, share to my ig stories etc) and if I collect enough, I'll contact the artists and ask if they're okay with me featuring their art in an episode/special of my comic (with info on how to find the artist)
I also have a toy.house account that I've added some art too, but I don't use it often ^^;

I think i might print some out though now that I have a printer. It's always surreal getting fanart cause I got into art by wanting to draw fanart for others, and never would've dreamed of receiving any. Like @mappypaint said, I think it would motivate me more as well.

I did prints of the ones I got, put them in a collage in a big ikea frame, and put it on my wall to remind me that I'm not as crap as I think I am. XD

I made a collage of all the fan art I've received and have it set as my computer background. It makes me very happy!!!

if i had the tools to do fun stuff i would... for now, i just have them on a file on my computer
