I hoard all my old art. I even have a website where I archive all my old concept art for characters and such, because I think it's interesting to see how much has changed/improved over the years, haha.

I still remember the names of my old DeviantART accounts, and I've never bothered going through and deleting art from them, so everything embarrassing I ever made as a teen and young adult is there for as long as that site continues to exist.

I have a laundry basket full of my very old sketchbooks and loose papers. For my digital stuff, I have a folder on my Google drive with digital art from my old DeviantART.

I like going through it and remembering how far I've come, both art-wise and life-wise.

I used to just throw away all of my artwork in the garbage when I am not satisfied with how it came out (or when I have to move to another place or somethin UoU.)

But now I save them...somewhere either in a dark place

or In a pile of messiness UnU
(imagine this being my room with a bunch of crap everywhere....thou shall not speak of this (don't know whose room is this but its sad TnT)

But thats for traditional art , for digital I try to save them, by posting it on one of my accounts, most likely they'll be lost... so sad ToT

My comic is my old art from 2006-2011 with some editing done and it’s being continued now cuz I miss it. I got the inspiration to work on it again by looking through my old sketchbooks and the notebooks I wrote stories in at my dad’s house where I left them when I moved out. My art hasn’t really changed that much but the quality and type of art program I use is much different and better so it’s fun to continue a long lost comic like this

I don't have a fancy filing system... I have some old art on the computer... Some on random papers and in sketchbooks... And some of it is thrown away, I can't keep everything here.

My paper media is safely guarded in portfolio folders (those ancient things with black thick covers); my digital ones I keep posted on my social media. Unfortunately, I lost access to my DeviantArt account, which had some of my early 2000s works, and it really makes me sad that I haven't found a way to recover that relic account =(

I keep all old art stored way somewhere. Very old art I store in a giant binder and others are just scattered in various filled sketchbooks.

I like keeping them whenever I’m feeling a little bit of a att block or doubting myself; it’s good to look back to see how much you have improved since you started, just overall very motivating and it also helps in getting out of the rat race that is comparing yourself to others.

I also look at old art for character design ideas that could be revamped to fit my current art style. Feel like a lot of my ideas back then was very out there (which I love) due to me being a child but sometimes it’s hard to have the frame of mind currently. So pulling from all that are some reasons I keep them

It looks terrible but I can't bring myself to throw it away. So I keep it in some corner of the house where I never have to look at it.

I can't keep everything. It's too much. But, everything that's in sketchbooks is kept. I have all of my sketchbooks, right down to the very first one. Old prints go in the garbage, some older digital pieces are saved with the rest of the really old crap, but most get deleted. I'll never use it again.

I want to make sure I don't hold on too much to the past and leave room to grow and create new stuff. I do keep some, I just can't keep everything. But, I kept everything when it comes to my comic series. Even the original script. I'll never use the old stuff, but it's documented history of this project.

I have a bunch of container. It can be a bit overwhelming because some of it goes back to 5th grade. I recently organized my loose papers into plastic sleeves. I then found these plastic folders to place them in.

I also had this habit of sketching on the back of old school worksheets which I ended up clipping them together
