VEHICLES!!!
CARS, TRAINS, BIKES, PLANES, IF IT MOVES AND I HAVE TO DRAW IT I DIE INSIDE!!!

Most of the time, I can finangle the other stuff though lol

I got over my dislike of drawing feet, so now it's only everything that counts as backgrounds :smirk: Drawing this stuff and crying, drawing and crying :joy:

oh god bet it´s difficult D:
But yeah I understand your pain u.u
literally drawing the whole panel makes me wanna die too lmao

And oh yeah finangling is really useful and a salvation u.u

buildings, just the mention of them sends shivers down my spine

Fabric, as in Cloth, Robes, Curtains, Sheets, Towels, Napkins, Cloaks, etc.

Anything with hard, clean lines that have to be perfect or they look wrong. This is nearly always modern items: cars, technology, guns, etc.

Ironically, I'm fine with (and even enjoy) a lot of things that other people hate drawing, like hands and feet, hair, fabric folds, and backgrounds. But I hate machines, guns, and a bunch of other modern stuff.

So of course I'm drawing a pre-modern fantasy setting, where the worst thing I'll have to draw on the regular is horses.

yeah sometimes you just gotta attempt the thing and most of the time it turns out ok!! Especially if you do it over and over lol

Right now I'm gonna have to say buildings. They have to be right or they can make your page look like an amateur attempt.

Anything that requires patience.

  • detailed backgrounds
  • sketches that turned out poorly and need a lot of work
  • crowds
  • characters interacting/overlapping (hugs, holding a kid, etc.)

Furniture. Hands down, everything I draw makes Stardew valley grandpa’s bed look amazing

Drawing buildings and interiors kill me. Drawing folds are just annoying too because my brain can't comprehend them. Line-art hurts a lot but some reason my art is known for the line-art and coloring so I do it even though it hurts lol.

Nose and ears. That's kinda how I came up with the main character of one of my books "Twig."

I hate drawing hands, I would be so happy if everybody had Powerpuff girls sausage hands instead

Trees.
OTL I love trees, but I hate drawing them. There's something about their organic shape and chaotic design, that I can't draw for the life of me.

Crowd scenes and people in distance.

It's so hard to apply details on them and they feel not solid enough when applying shades and effects. Many times, they look like chess pawns from a distance, it's annoying.

Sameee Dx
Wish characters could live and interact in a white space xd
I just don´t have the patience and braincells to create a map of the building or room´s design xs

I got over my hate of drawing cars and other vehicles when I bought a car and accidentally became a car girl, lol (I was already a boat girl, always have been since childhood). Now I'm one of those people who recognizes cars on the road and can name the makes by their year and design. So, while my brain doesn't handle inorganic shapes very well and I'm still kinda poo at designing new cars/vehicles (if I have to make them realistic and not just bubble vehicles for my comic), I don't hate drawing them.

I hate having to design and draw ornate/elaborate clothing like, for royalty or something. I can almost never get the designs right that seems opulent/rich and not like, a bunch of ugly messy lines and squiggles.

I also hate interior design... even though I've been trying to get better at it for years, I just can't wrap my mind around elegant solutions to problems. I think too inside the box and everything winds up really devoid of character. D:

And I struggle with drawing modern or futuristic cities because it's both order and chaos at the same time and I DON'T know how to balance the two to get the look I'm going for.
