Politics and religious discussions aren't my favorite topics on the forums (mostly because they lead to tempers rising), however, if everyone remains thoughtful and civil about the discussion anything goes. Feel free to mute this thread (at the bottom of the page) if you rather not see it.

Donald Trump has captured the populist anger on the regressive party. The problem is, he is right on issues with trade, and that's scary. He's using valid issues and he's using fear to gain power. He encourages violence but he's right on social security.

This is the problem, he's dangerous and he is using the righteous anger of the American people and corrupting it to create a fascist regime. Not that Ted Cruz, John Kassic, Marco Rubio, and Jeb! Bush aren't fascists, it's just that Donald Trumps America would be closer to Nazi Germany, the others are aiming for 2003 United States under George W. Bush.

If he wins, my worst fear is that he will get pissed off with North Korea and start the Korean War II. Plus, his obsession with the wall also bugs me, what if Mexico refuses to pay? Does that mean another Mexican-American war?

I feel Trump is too out of touch to be president. Also the US government is not a corporation. You can't just "fire" a state because they disagree with you and hire a new one who is a "yes man".

Frankly any other candidate would make a better president, even Ted Cruz.

Also people saying that non americans shouldn't care... america is probably one of the biggest world powers and affects the world greatly.

@indagold I think the world needs to care. This dude is not even qualified to deal with world issues in a diplomatic manner.

Among my many concerns is that he would further divide the country between the super rich & everyone else(or be a tool for the regime that would do so)...I dont trust him with the economy either.

There's very little we can do except sit back in frustration and watch it play out. Just like most things that happen in the USA. Seriously that countries antics by now have made us numb to all the stuff coming out of it.
