I want to incorporate a suit in my story at some point, So I tried to design this, But I am not sure about it. So tell me how does it look

  • It's Okay to use...
  • Looks to much inspired, need some alteration before use

In all seriousness, the suit is fine. If you're worried that people will think you copied it from somewhere else, I don’t think it will be a problem. At least I don’t recognise it. Sci Fi suits dime a dozen.
Some of the details look kind of muddled. I think the muscle tendrils are slightly too big. They are too big to be considered texture, but too small to feel like a distinct component of the suits.

The other thing that’s missing is something to give the design its identity. To me, it’s just a generic sci-fi suit, and my eyes just glossed over it. That might be a me problem because I do have some idiosyncrasy when it comes to sci-fi design.

Ultimately, Overall, It’s good.

thankyou for your kind response, I'll try to make the design more identifiable....

I think its nice - can maybe add some detail to avoid the very symmetrical look of base armor- a decal or a buckle or extra accessory on one side- doesent have to be extreme just subtle, you'll see it a lot in game characters. I like the shoal tied to the left hand so thats a start. So maybe this small detail on right side of armor? Some of this can also tie into the identity as previous person mentioned- a trinket on belt from a loved one, clan/rank symbols etc

Guessing even if you end up using it at that point in your story, but new design ideas come, you can always come up with in-story reasons where character : upgrades attaches new accessory or repaired after a battle etc Happened with me when I wasn't feeling my MCs original pants and shoes so having him lose them in an early episode served as some humor in one battle lol

Whoa!!! That's a really creative way you mentioned there

Glad you find it creative my friend :+1: Keep it up

Games like Final Fantasy series, Metal Gear series etc can be some great inspos in the way they put detail/ accessories into the character suits regarding events in character's journey. Dead Space with the upgrades too if i remem corectly. Maybe useful gadgets too.

Agree with @Oriflamme, it's fine but a bit generic. Since the fibers appear to be acting like plates, why not make most of them plates?

Yeah!!! you're right. In deadspace they had this machine in which mc gets inside to upgrade his suit....

I don't know the plot of the story, so it's hard to say exactly how suitable it is BUT the stylization is very cool, a little bit of Jampiresque vibes, a little bit of the Van Helsing movie with Hugh Jackman:sweat_smile:
