What do you think when you see this girl?

Trying to flesh out a magical girl OC:

Normally this is the part where I talk about the character, but since I'm asking for impressions I can't really do that...
All I can say is that she's a bit flat right now for an MC, and I'm trying to brainstorm things I could add to her character, and maybe things she might learn over the course of the story?

This is the last thing I have to do before I can start writing, and since this is a big experiment I'm very anxious to start. >_<

I think...I want to know what's in that box? Or is it a bazooka? Because magical girls with bazookas or rpg launchers are really cool and epic.

Edit: design wise...I think she looks pretty solid. But I'm wondering if maybe some eye wear or some tech on her face might help a little. Overall she appears rounded out, but maybe a little more design flavor with those diamond shapes could help.

Also, she seems to carry a cool deadly cannon.....maybe she shoots lasers?

I think it might be the colors, but it seems like maybe her normal live she might work in the food service industry. (I think the colors just make me think of pizza. XD) but I can see her being this epic character who uses heavy guns such as rocket launchers, so when they call her in, they are calling in "the big guns"

She looks like a pokemon trainer to me, or like @PaulDevers and @cjspiethillustr, some type of delivery employee. It isn't the first time I've seen a small, sweet girl carrying a big, overblown weapon. Her design's kind of busy and also forgettable.

It's interesting that everyone seems to think it's a cannon or something...to be honest, it's actually just a box. ^^; A battering ram, if anything. I always visualized her with something shaped like that clipped to her belt, so I drew one just to help work the design.

As for the in-universe answer: the weapons in this world are transformable, and ultimately the user decides what form it will take. This character is just starting out, so it'll probably be a lot of different things throughout the story...I have to thank y'all for all the ideas~

They do just fit with the outfit...but that's an interesting idea. ^^ Maybe someone else could take it.

The diamond motif is actually for all the characters. :9 Although now I'm wondering what 'diamond-related powers' would entail...

Just a quick weapon idea, pay no attention if ya don't like it

What if it was telekinetically controlled or remote controlled with a headset unit that followed wherever she looks at. Would be pretty handy to do damage from a distance or break open door locks while staying back a little for tactical reasons
