What does your username mean?

At first my name was going to be "Preheat to 375" but last minute I dropped the "Preheat to" and just became 375 Its lame, I know.

It's just my name (technically my nick name since I was a kid, turned name because people can't fuking pronounce my old name which is annoying but worse when I absolutely HATE every single name they pronounce it as like... fuk me. A lot of people can't figure out how to pronounce Kura either but at least it's not that fuking awful names they thought my old name was pronounced as)

I use Kurapika for some places cause it's... my name hidden in an anime character's name. I am so sneaky hahahaha ok not really

But yeah, Kura is just my name.

I don't remember why I came up with the name. I originally thought it was a play on words from Rick Roller, but after some digging, it predates the meme.

It was first used in a fanfic but later became an OC who wrote a book about killing immortals but used the name "Nick B Rowler" instead of his own. I have old comics where characters will say "I'm Nick B Rowler" as a joke and for a time I had the phrase "I'm not Nick B Rowler" on my DeviantArt. I then started to use it as a username when I discovered that it was not a name people usually took. I also dropped the B so that people don't call me Browler.

I guess I liked being called Nick online, so now I am having people IRL call me it.

Rowler doesn't mean anything.

It means I had two problematic OC's back in 2009 named Akemi and Kaemon, and I used AkemiKae on a whim for my username on DeviantArt. I once again used it on a whim for my comic username (because it's never taken anywhere!), and I actually really like the way it sounds (Ah-kay-mee-kai), plus I love it when people call me Akemi or just Ake.

Honestly, those original OC's were a problem though... ^^;;

If you see an AkemiKae, or Akemi_Kae floating around on the internet...it's me. lol

Mine is rather literal and pretty simple on the whole. XD

Syn- is actually just short for: Synesthete; I chose that since I am one and Cypher means code (and the number Zero). I spelt it with a "y" so it would match Syn. So my name works out two ways: Synesthete Code or Synesthete Zero! (Because one way of saying it may be the cypher, and the other way of interpreting it may be the answer to said code. I figured if it was a cypher I may as well get creative with it hahah)

Oh boy let me think how to explain this. It's basically an intern joke for my family.

Coatis are cute animals that are pretty common around here.
When I was a child, I was kinda lazy. I never liked to play sports, slept most of the morning and stuff like that. For reasons that I never knew, my father used to say that I was born with a coati in my back. So being a "coati" means that I was a lazy potato couch my entire life.

Then when I graduate in High School, I decided to take a major in Animation. And for my father, going to art school was just me being lazy and afraid to take a "real major" (I always had good grades).

After starting working with art I had to take an artistic name and decided to be a Coati. If I'm supposed to be a lazy Coati, then I'll be the pretty damn good Coati, because artist are a bunch of lazy people :v

I've got a full spread. Number form, color graphemes for numbers and letters, sound-color, sound-sensation, smell-color, taste-color, (only one instance of OLP for the number seven and no other, oddly? XD) I also have a calendar year and week-by-week tracks in a 3D space and I can't remember what that's called at the moment. I literally don't know where one ends and the other begins because it pervades every facet of my life in an inexorable way. (Hah, I didn't even know that it wasn't normal until I was 19. Better late than never, I s'pose) so fantastic to meet another synnie here! This is so exciting!
