Once I dreamed that I was spending the night with a friend at a relative's house, except we were sleeping on a sort of futon outside in the backyard, only for me to 'wake up' in the dream and see my friend was gone. Instead, there was a... Basically it was a monstrous Vigoroth from Pokemon, but with an insanely sharp-toothed grin, and it was holding a plate of chicken nuggets which it said it had cooked me friend up into and was going to do the same to me. I ran from it trying to scream, but wasn't actually able to for some reason. I then woke up. I had the dream a second time, but that time the monkey monster had cooked my family into hot dogs or something, and I still couldn't scream. The third time I had the dream, when it was finally coming for me, I finally screamed and, uh... If you've never watched an anime called Bobobo-Bo-Bo-Bobo, I advise looking it up. That show's an... experience. And the main character then showed up and rescued me by beating up the monster. Never had the dream again. Yeah.
I used to have really weird dreams and I would write them down as soon as I woke up. I still have a few of them, but I'll just share one with you now (I wrote this a while ago, so pardon the grammar errors -I try to write it down as quickly as possible before I forget facts). Sorry it is kind of long:
So the main character is some warrior chick, and it starts off in the middle of some army camp. She has joined the army of … people (not really sure what they were, but I don’t think they were human) she is talking with the general guy about how she’s their only hope now, because they lost so many men already against the enemy (which is definitely not human, again not sure what they are though). She agrees that she will help, and she has this weird, really thin sword that has two blades, one of which curves upward a bit.
It flashes forward to her on the hill above the battlefield. She’s wearing a lot of armour and below are a lot of dead bodies. The things she’s helping are all getting ready for war. The gross enemy thing that I don’t even remember what they look like are making their way onto the field.
Then beside the main character there is a little girl. She has grey skin and these giant black eyes. She’s encased in this tube thing, just her head is showing. For some reason I remember her having really curly blond hair. She says something to the main character, something along the lines of “let me help you”. The main character is scared of the battle and wants to use the little girl, but the people she helping is afraid of her. (She’s some sort of demon?) The main walks away from the girl again, and heads to the middle of the battlefield where everyone is fighting around her (I think I become her at this point>?) I’m standing in the middle just observing all the good guys die. There is a lot of blood and gore. I walk up to the top of the hill again. At the top of the hill I’m just observing again (no longer the main character). She looks down at the sword in her hand, still clean, and it looks very useless to her. She becomes scared, and heads over to the little girl again. She talks to her; the little girl convinces her she can help. The army around her begs her not to agree, but she attempts to release her?
The tube thing that is trapping her turns into tendons and muscles and veins start pulling towards the little girl. She begins to change. She looks evil, and starts laughing and these bloody veins and guts keep rushing towards her, and then she breaks free (hard part to describe so bare with me)
This large, greyish brown creature comes out of the tube (that’s the little girl). She has a large bald head; her skin is dry and wrinkly. She floats, her back is hunched over, her arms are long and drag on the ground, and her legs are short and float above the ground. Her back is spiky from her spine, and her eyes are still large, but she has no eyelids, and her teeth are really sharp.
She floats out to the middle of the battlefield. A huge blinding light forms, and expands across the main characters vision. When it clears, the good army remains, but the enemy has been completely wiped out. The creepy girl is gone.
Yes, it was the zombie-vampire threat ! That is one weird combination too... They were zombie with pointed teeth. So they wanted blood so much !
It looked like a very nice weapon, maybe I should take my pen and draw it.
@puellaaquae I saw one episode of Bobobo-Bo-Bo-Booboo, so I can see how he beat the monster. Still, it's a three parts dream, quite strange ! Your brain really wanted you to dream about it !
@ck_tapastic I'd give someone permission to use my dream for sure! ^^ That would be really cool to see.
I recently started a Dream diary and I think That These two are probably the weirdest of all:
I'm on a train with a friend and I decide to go to the toilets. There I look at myself in the mirror and I see three faces melted in one, i'm me, and two friend of mine mixed(it's a bit hard to explain but I simply knew I was several persons at the same time) I go back to my sit and ask my friend who am I. He respond That it's not important then an explosion occurs and I wake up in class. I'm still in dreamstate and there is only one person with me(a girl I was in love with at the time). The teacher enters the room, he's faceless, he opens the Windows and jump(we're at the 3rd level). We see hum running away screaming:"FREE! FREE!" we go back to out sits and then she turns to me, puts her hand on my cheek and says:" We're young. Wake up"
The second was shorter, I was simply falling in the abyss(and I held my breath in real life while sleeping) and I met a friendly Shark
It depends on what qualifies as strange. I used to have dreams (before medicated for insomnia) about giant green porcupines chasing after me, spiders the size of small dogs choking me, and other stuff like this.
Now they are subtler, reflecting more the reading taste I currently have. Which is general fiction with a tragic bent, but not really the same tragedy I once read.
Thus they tend to reflect nightmares based on what could be true, but isn't and less on the fantastic. But they still seem to have plots.
Just finished a story based on one from last night.
I've had a whole lot of weird dreams, not sure which one would be the "weirdest" but some of them:
I had a dream where Waluigi couldn't play his PSP game because the disc
had some weird tears/marks/ect. in it. So he went to Gamestop to buy a
"VS Pita", which I'm sure has absolutely nothing to do with the PS Vita
Gamestop also had several third-party PS2 accessories, some of which
didn't appear to have anything to do with gaming. Like most third-party
accessories they looked pretty bad.
Also, PSP discs were different from what they actually looked like: They
weren't in a plastic cover, and they were now triangular, with no hole,
and apparently if you took 3 of them and arranged them into the shape
of a star and then put that star in, something would happen. (Note that, at
this point, I had never seen a PSP disc before)Sadly, no one did this
so I couldn't see what it was. Some people compared them to
Doritos but that's just silly because Doritos are Xbox, not Playstation.
also:
One time, some years ago, I played "Zero Wing" (except it wasn't the
actual game - I've never played the game, just know the memes) and it
started as a space-shooter game where I shot a bathtub off a
huge spaceship, then later it turned into a 3D platformer where I
would fight various bosses, and I'd choose my boss from a world
map and it seemed like I could do them in any order. I selected the
level with CATS, which was the 4th level, and he was standing on a
platform in the middle of the sea. I had to stand in a tiny wooden boat -
literally STAND on top of it with just enough space to place my feet on
- and row towards him. When I got on the platform and was going to
fight him, he started with a small speech and then the game turned into a
2D fighter.
Oh, and after you had beat some boses they'd all gather inside this big
room, and you could talk to them. They were rather friendly for someone
you had just beat the crap out of a while ago...
I dream a lot about playing games in general. Either games that exist but I've never played so the dream just makes up something, or completely made-up games.
I had a very weird dream when my mother had began talking about how she didn't have the same strength as she used to. At some rate in my dream I had got alot of money and was looking at somewhere to "put" my mother so she didn't have to work. The trip was long but then a good friend of mine told me a stone castle was for sale to the right buyer. Turned out it was full of nuns and a small lawyar firm in one corner. The nuns showed me all kinds of hidden rooms and ventilation corridors, some of that went to the lawyers. It was just so weird being all mighty rich and just those two groups living along side one another. But when I woke up I felt realy good about myself until I realized it had only been a dream.
