Etrian Odyssey is really good, so it's definitely worth a try if you have a 3DS.

I've wanted to try Ni no Kuni but I remember the digital download being gigantic...

For a long time I was a big fan of the Tales series, starting with the original Tales of Phantasia. I still love that one to this day, mainly for its villain (which at the time I thought he had a good and unique depth to him).

However, I feel my all time favourite JRPG (if it classifies as one) is Suikoden II (and I). There's something very special and personal about the storytelling in those games. Even if Luca Blight was a pretty stereotypical sociopathic prince, everything about that game was magical. It's one of the few games that gets to me emotionally.

Golden Sun, definitely. The mix of environment puzzles and turn-based combat really worked for me. I even enjoyed the third one, even if it’s not quite as good as the original two for the GBA.

In terms of ongoing franchises, I’m also a big fan of Etrian Odyssey.

Oh gods do I have to choose? FFFFFFF-

Okay, here are some of my favorites:

Legend of Dragoon, Legend of Legaia, Any of the Tales games, the Suikoden series, the Breath of Fire series of games, The Wild Arms series, the Grandia series, Xenogears, Xenoblade, Final Fantasy, Chrono-Cross/Chrono-trigger, and the Lunar series of games.

To be honest, I loved tons more but...yeah this whole place would be over saturated if I decided to list them all, lol. The vids I chose (for the ones that have them) were just the ones I liked the most.

Tales of Symphonia. It's both my favorite JRPG, but it's also my very first JRPG.

Funny thing is I first played the very end of the game (I played my cousin's copy) before I got my own. I was sooooo confused lol

How could I forget Earthbound in my previous post. The Mother series is one of the strongest game series out there. So much love to Earthbound and the entire Mother series!

It was just surprising when I played my first BoF. Didn't stop me from enjoying it. But it was rather strange.

I haven't played that many but I like Earthbound and I played some of Mother 3 and enjoyed it (but then I got stuck and could not finish it)

I also liked Princess Maker 2...but I don't know if that counts.
I also liked Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and the first two Paper Mario games.

I have played both FF7 and FF10...not really my cup of tea.

FF10, Xenoblade Chronicles, Chrono Trigger, Monster Hunter Stories, and Mario & luigi Bowser's Inside Story.

Future favs are going to be Xenoblade 2 and Kingdom Hearts 3. I can already tell I'm going to LOVE those games.

Even though it's not my most favorite. The Game i'm currently addicted to is Tokyo Xanadu Ex+ Though i was really disappointed with Mitsuki's ending DX. I only got Asuka and Mitsuki's ending so far in the after story.

Earthbound! Dragon Quest 2! Final Fantasy VII (yeah, I'm one of those people)! Super Mario RPG!
