Mechanical pencil... preferably the BIC kind. Even though it's a dollar store brand, I love using them. No other kind works for me, especially when I'm just sketching for fun.

Mechanical pencil. Just the simple Bic kind. I'm not one to shell out a lot of money on traditional drawing tools.

But I rarely do traditional art these days. Digitally, I use a Wacom Intuos 4. Pretty decent tablet. Hoping to get a Cintiq one day u w u

My Uni Kuru Toga .3mm mechanical pencil UniKuruPencil and Uni Hi Density 2h lead. I use this for all my light rough pencils. I can't even describe how awesome this pencil is

Oh man, I also love, love, love conte. I could never stand to use charcoal again after using these. I don't have many opportunities to use them these but their awesome.

Besides the tablet I use to ink and color,

I'd be no where without my 2mm Lead holder and a Faber Castell Dust Free Eraser.

That eraser is magic and I tend to erase a lot.

I've always been a doodle kind of guy with my art. Just give me a college notebook and mechanical pencil, and I'm off to the races. Then it's onto Macromedia Flash 4, though I'm more about just utilizing that program these days than actual sketching. The mouse and keyboard don't hurt my hands as much.

I've tried a lot of inking tools over the last few years and found that Rotring ArtPen is probably the most versatile and the most reliable pen I've ever had to use. However, recently, I got this little gem... a Kuretake No.40 Sable brush. It's a brush pen that behaves pretty much exactly like Windsor & Newton series 7 brush, except that you never have to dip it into ink. It looks really cool, too. Now if only I had the control to use it...

You know I haven't come in contact with col-erase in a while now which is crazy considering my face is glued to like every bloody art supplies I can get my hands on.
Gotta admit I'm a bit of a digitally biased creature but when I can get my hands on prismacolors and copics I shit bricks with excitement. e we bounces <33

My pigma micron pens. Inking is my favorite and I like the control a pen gives me over my lines. Someday I'd like to try a brush but right now I'm too afraid.
