What job do you work at other than create comics?

I've always had only two hobbies: creating comics and designing websites (UX/UI). For almost 4 years I have been working on a site that deals with casino reviews aimed to reveal all the relevant insights about these games on the gambling market. I got tired of this job, and I decided that I want to turn my hobby (making comics) into a job that will bring me income. At the moment, my hobby does not make me money, but I play in online casinos in which I worked before, and what I earn there is enough for my living.

I'm a physical therapist! Comics are a good mental health hobby for me.

I've worked in a lot of things, from software development to dioramas for engineering and FX for TV (and silkscreen, toyart, helper in a stray cats shelter...). Now I'm working in game development with a full time job creating games for employees training. But I also have my own game inside Second Life. The comics and my own games, well, waiting for when I have time to work on them.

Technically it was my husband's brainchild. We had a local artist do the logo but we designed everything when it came to the yatai. Its a converted 1973 BOLER trailer.

I do every job imaginable with it. I am secretary, planner, assistant cook, server, and driver.

And still my heart lies within my writing.

Comics is what has been paying my bills for the last handful of years but I also do occasionally try to do some freelance work in animation and illustration. I used to also sell paintings and I’ve thought about doing it again just for some extra income but its such a hassle for me!

Right now I’m in a very privileged position where my finances covered for the next year so I only need to focus on the work I’m contractually obligated to finish.

I'm disabled and I'm legally not allowed to get a "Real Job"
So I consider comics my job
although it's not what pays the bills I work 8 hours a day on this comic sometimes longer if I lose track of time.
