Romance isn't the main theme of my novel but I think my main characters Graves and Lovecraft would agree this would be the ballad of their budding relationship. Rough and horrifying times are ahead but they'll ride out the storm together.

MC is strong with his beliefs that you don't need your soulmate to live your life. But his life went downhill (divorce and all that) and his love interest appeared in the middle of it, unannounced and willing to be with MC every step of the way. MC's conflicted whether this feelings he has are real or just the influence of the red string wrapped around pinky.

Man on the moon. The whole song sounds like one giant orgasm and is probably about sex. Only thing wrong is that it's sung by a woman, but otherwise it fits Hugh perfectly. He has very strong physical feelings for her, but can't really put things into definitely words or thought. But he's a simple man who knows what he wants. He's willing to go a certain distance for her, but there's still something holding him back so they're not currently together. I don't want to spoil too much as the love interest has barely been introduced yet.
I've got two main-ish couples in my comic, unfortunately I haven't been able to devote a ton of time to either of the romances. But I'm a sucker for pairing people up sooooooo

Rip's parents Ken and Dawn are the only relationship I focused on in my one-shot, Dino Orphan.They are both warriors so they always fight side by side. This song may not be intended as a 'love song' but it encapsulates how they feel about each other. Each is always there for the other, no matter what they're going through.
