There is only one movie that has ever made me truly cry, and I SOB at the end, every time, and that is SENNA, the documentary about the life and death of F1 great Ayrton Senna, and what he meant to the people of Brazil as a national hero. I get all started at the end when they're at San Marino at last, and first Rubens Barricello crashes on Friday and almost died, and I just start think "we almost lost one of the nicest guys in the F1 paddock." Then Roland Ratzenberger dies the next day and I cry more. And then finally Ayrton's fatal crash happens and I'm just gone. Every time. It's terrible.
The end of Spirited Away makes me pretty sad too. I was super depressed at the end of AnoHana and Cowboy Bebop. I don't think I've read a book or comic that made me cry. Yeah, I pretty much only cry over Formula 1....
