What was the first story you ever wrote?

For me the first real thing would be this awful attempt at a horror story called “the datening” because I knew that was a joke people made about horror stories (didn’t know why, i’d never heard of the happening), but then I changed it to “nameless” because I was lazy. It did not have a planned beginning middle or end, it just happened.

I never even titled mine cause I couldn't come up with anything. It was a classic fantasy and looking back it definitely sucked. Didn't have much substance but I'd love to go back to it someday and completely revamp the story because I did love the world and the characters I created, but right now it's not the story I want to tell.

Well… the oldest story I can remember writing was called “Baby Island” I believe I was just a lil kiddo- maybe 6-10 years old. It was really weird. weird enough to rival the excellent weirdness of The Butter bee Chronicles. (But not quite as good of course) I don’t remember anything specific about it… except that there was a baby.

When I was in pre-k, I wrote a "book" about my sisters called "Sistres Forever" (sic). I don't remember anything about it other than the misspelled title (and I only remember that because my family still makes fun of me for it). I'm sure my parents still have the copy I made from crayon and printer paper around somewhere.

In Grade 11 (1988/89) I drew my comic character Sam The Shark for the first time on the back of a math test. The teacher loved it, and encouraged me to keep drawing comics. I started drawing for the school paper and made my own book full of comics.

In Grade 12, at the start of the school year, my English teacher announced that everybody in the class had to do a huge project that would count for 1/2 the grade for the year. She listed off the things we could do: Novel, book of poetry, etc etc. then she said “Comic book”, and I immediately yelled out “Finished!!!”

At the end of the year I handed it in with the admonishment “Do not write on any page in this book. If you must comment, please use sticky notes”.

I got full marks (50 out of 50).

The comic book was a combination of short “daily” style strips mixed with longer-form “comedy adventure” comics, sort of like Archie comics. The first of those long stories was called “The trouble with time”, and it involved Sam the Shark accidentally travelling through time, where he meets a robotic shark cop with the super-creative name of “Roboshark”. Roboshark gets Sam back to his own time (in a 1969 Ford “Boss 429” Mustang that he turned into a Time Machine) but ends up being trapped in Sam’s time. Roboshark was going to be a spinoff series but it never happened.

Yes, it was very derivative. Roboshark was a ripoff of Robocop, and his Mustang Time Machine was a ripoff of the world’s most famous DeLorean. What can I say… I was seventeen.

There was another long-form comic in that book that tied all of the characters from all of my series into one story. It was called “In Search of the Bucky Pinetridge”. Bucky Pinetridge was a mythical creature: Part make deer (buck), part porcupine, part partridge. It, too, was stupid, but the art was much better

There are two in my mind. The first one that I completed was a YA werewolf novel. You know exactly what I'm talking about. It was on wattpad, of course.

The gist? Abused alpha girl loses her voice. She also can't shift into an actual wolf. She runs away, finds her mate, and then is kidnapped by insane father (abuser). He then throws her off a cliff but is saved by her real parents. Surprise! She's adopted!

She wakes up two years later and suddenly is able to shift into, you guessed it, a magic white wolf. She then runs into another pack beta who is low key a nice dude. He brings her back to their pack and omg would you never guess it, she has a 2nd mate! However (maybe the only interesting part), is that she does not reciprocate his love and he doesn't either. They are like "yeah pass". However, the beta (dude that found her) and her fall in love.

Anyway, turns out vampires are planning to attack them. Also, the other pack/mate/alpha? Yeah he wants her dead dead so he can marry this other chick.

So she and Mr beta leave the pack to find daddy dearest and in a hotel room they are attacked and their hotel is set on fire. They escape and would you guess it, turns out MC is a vampire hybrid.

They run away and things get a little blurry here. Beta is fine, they get back to camp and things are okay until we get lore. Finally. So there are three werewolf deities, they're triplets. It's not what you think I swear.

Two boys and one girl. You see vampires & werewolves were enemies cause why wouldn't they be? So for some reason the girl triplet was sneaking through a vampire clan base with her super power stuff and she finds a vampire bard. He is a higher rank but doesn't like conflict. They fall in love and BAM MC. However, the mom is like "Oh no they'll kill me, here my old BFF, take this random child."

So, another night MC goes on a werewolf run I think??? I can't remember. And she gets back and apparently they kidnapped the alpha (the second chance mate). Turns out, he has an anger issue and is like a Lycan, big boy. So these vampire (I think) interrogate him and he can't transform cause of magic I think. So, MC breaks in embracing her vampire powers and freestyle him. He then loses his coo coo for coco puffs and turns into angry lycan. They then kill a bunch of vampires.

OP manages to kill the vampire leader but the Beta dude (her second lover ig??) Is wounded and dies. So she magically switches places and she gives him her life force. She is set to die in three days.

Then, her mother and uncles say hi. And three days later, the beta sets up this romantic date with the MC. And they end up going out to a lake where her life basically ends. He grabs her wet corpse and they bury her. And he is like totally devastated.

Anyway that's the end, almost. Turns out a princess from another pack is searching for her mate and she goes to this pack and it turns out it's the beta. But he says screw that and runs away.

There was gonna be a second story but thank God that didn't happen.

The first story I ever wrote was a vent fic where I gave some of my favorite characters at the time eczema. I was three years old.

I don't really remember writing when I was really young. I was always an artist who hated books and writing until recently. I didn't really fall in love with it until seventh grade. I wrote a short story about a girl who was 1 out of 12 sisters (named after the months of the year. Very creative right? They were all identical) and basically all her sisters got kidnapped by her "handler". She was an assassin. Then she had to go find them and it turned out that it was all just a joke and they were safe and actually throwing her a "Best Sister Ever" party.

The first story I ever wrote was Quest For Light. It was about five teenagers, who had their island invaded by a demon and have to travel through five different time periods to collect pieces of light that could destroy the demon. I should actually look back at that story.

I can't remember my first but I do remember in 4th grade writing a take on Cinderella for a project. I took a lot of creative liberties because my story ended up with her crossdressing as a prince and fight ghosts/ghouls.

I wrote a Star Wars fanfic in 1986 when I was 11 years old.
It was mainly about Han Solo, Chewbacca and a little spoiled kid who
wanted to kidnap Chewbacca for some reason. There was also
a song in the story that the kid sang. My older brother still sing
this song from time to time to make fun of me

I don´t remember the first comic I ever made / wrote because my
brother and me drew many pages every day. It was probably something
violent and the first panel was my OC at that time (Thomas Svenson) waking
up in bed and being annoyed by something.

The first story I have ever written was a short story title "Jukebox". It was my first assignment in a Creative Writing course. I was the unfortunate one to go first in class and had to complete it within 4 days. When it came time to present to everyone, I gave it my all. "Jukebox" is a love story involving a bartender who's bad with his own emotions and a carefree women. Halfway into the story, or their date, it's revealed she mtf. She runs into a guy from her past who's transmisic. Her date step in and puts him in his place. Their ruined date ends on a sweet note and a song. Despite my stories many grammar and spelling checks, it got high praise from my classmates and professor. She persuaded me to improve the story and have it published in the school's magazine. This story made me feel good and inspired me to keep writing to this day.

It was called "Pam and Gak." About a girl named Pam trying to find her lost cat named Gak. Don't ask me why the cat was named Gak, I was like 5 and could only write or spell 3 letter words.

mine was a fanfic about a dance teacher for a kpop group It was super cheesy but it was fun to write and entertaining for my sister who was also obsessed with the boyband i mentioned in the fic.

this is the first story I've wrote and shared as a whole called echoes of the abyss, I've always like reading but never really wrote anything myself until last year and this is technically the second story I've written since its a reboot.
