It pains me to leave @armorelito cute avatar disappointed:
World domination, money and fame!
... but more realistically...
I want my readers to be intrigued and questioned enough to think about what I’m trying to say... and even though I’m curious about their internal process and own personal position about the episode’s theme I’m hardly pushing any answer myself, or at least I try not to... just a push to get readers reflect on a subject...

Hi @amortelito! Interesting thread!
What I would love to evoke with my story and characters to the audience is... a sense of being family, comedy, and a positive spin on life to be optimistic despite life having downfalls sometimes. The impression I hope the audience has about my work is something that it's free flowing and a feeling of the comic being effortless which is hard to come by but I am working on that.
Not to mention I have cubital tunnel syndrome so drawing hand doesn't work now but I will be referred to a physical therapist soon.
The comic I'm talking about is called Open Flame.
Adding this in but most importantly for the audience to enjoy the story and be entertained!
I always find it neat when readers notice themes. My work can sometimes be mysterious and I don't always spell everything out to the reader, so I love it when they "Get" it. XD
Particularly, with Inheritance, I want to evoke intense feelings from the audience. I don't care what kind. I think if I have invoked any kind of intense feelings, then I have done my job well.
Interesting question! I guess I'd want my readers to be moved by the internal journey that my main character, Hannah, takes. And to love her as much as I do, as flawed and stubborn as she is.
My ideal reader would be one who likes to watch characters evolve -- that's important, I think. Hannah's arc is kind of a slow burn -- after the initial attack, we've got some slice-of-life stuff that gradually progresses into an unfolding of mysteries and finally explodes into... well, spoilers. So my readers need to be people who enjoy that progression, that stacking-up of mysteries and plot points for rewards that happen as the novel develops.
The flip side to this is that people who are looking for a lot of action and drama right away aren't going to be satisfied. It's the people who find themselves invested in this silly, unlucky kid and want to watch her grow up and start to own her life and her decisions who are going to like this book. People who love a strong character arc. People who like to try to figure out hidden truths and mysteries before they're revealed. That's the kind of reader I am, and it's definitely the kind of reader I write for.
I would want my readers to understand the entire story. My webtoon has a lot of parts which would not be understandable if someone doesn’t stay Upto date.I would also want them to know that it has different sides to it.It is a murder mystery but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t anything else.I would say that my comic is equally dramatic. Many judge without following atleast a few eps and I think that only after you understood the plot can you judge something
I would like that too, to get the readers to see the comic as a whole as we advance in the story...but after 2 years keeping up with regular updates I see how hard is to get readers engaged and remember what is going on without going back several times. Even the most loyal readers sometimes even forget about plot points and characters 🤣 . But the hope is still there.
I checked out your page, it's amazing the effort you put into pondering on the central topic of each page. You are definitely accomplishing your goal to make the readers think. The idea of "value" is something that is very interesting because we tend to give for granted that things have an inherent value but perception what defines what something is worth.
Keep up the good work!
This is a hard question because the story I am writing is a rather dark one that delves into uncomfortable themes and contains pretty hard imagery. I want people to be scared, uncomfortable and yet intrigued. To be sucked into my work that can be horrifying yet very romantic or even funny in a very dark, gallows.
This story I'm linking below is very much one that covers what I mention above:
Dark, gruesome with fluffy romance moments and steamy dark moments.
