Tibalt never watched horror movies in our world, and his first instinct is to get out before he second guesses himself and realizes everyone else in a horror movie was trying to get out, too, and that's how they died. Next option? Figure out a spell that kills a ghost. Shouldn't be too hard. Elmer? Elmer would probably annoy the ghost while being frustratingly unkillable and end up ACTUALLY getting them out by irritating the ghost enough the whole group got kicked out. Grim would probably be more focused on herding kittens, re: scientific minded mage Tibalt who just wants to see if it's possible to kill a ghost with an enchanted gun, and Elmer engaging in a war of attrition. He has no time to worry about dying. He's more concerned about getting some leashes. Angel? Angel would be ACTUALLY trying to get them out, and get really pissed off because he almost managed it before the ghost kicked everyone out and wasted his efforts. And Innes.... Innes is just unbothered.

Anyways, here it is.

My protagonist would most likely try to find a way to kill whatever lurks in the house. If that doesn't work he'd just break away out.

Ah, yes, I forgot. The link is below:

Have a look if you're interested and subscribe if you like it.

Aina: Would try to stay calm and figure a way out.
Alvard: Would try to find a magical way to defeat the ghosts.
Goose: There to keep everyone together.
Sera: Would totally punch a ghost.

I share Angel's pain. Don't you hate it when your dumbass friends wreck your plans by getting you kicked out of a place you spent so much time trying to figure out how to leave? Honestly, so frustrating :joy:.

I can understand how three of those four methods would work. I find myself questioning the fourth. How? Why? Would it even work? So many questions....

I see, that makes sense. I'm still not sure how successful she'd be, but whatever works.

Ah, I see. So she sees a house inhabited solely by ghosts and demons and decides that it's in dire need of renovation? Interesting thought process I suppose. She might make a good paranormal real estate agent.

My comics already have a supernatural theme to them so I'm very excited to share what would probably happen with some of my main cast.

My main character Sarah would probably have a mix of emotions, preferably a mix of being, excited, scared, and curiousness.

Her best friend Zane would definitely not be afraid, since he's a zombie he wouldn't be very concerned about what the ghosts would do.

Keisha and Amy would probably try and interview the ghosts for the school paper.

David would first act all tough and threaten the ghosts then he'll run away after they throw something at him. Lol.

And finally Ryan would definitely scare the ghosts away instead of them scaring him.

A ghost interview for the school paper sounds like it'd be quite interesting to read. I checked out your story, it seems really cool. If you're interested, feel free to have a look at mine and sub if you like:

Sure I'll check yours out, it looks very interesting  and if I like it I'll definitely sub.

Fuyumi - Cling to the others while crying uncontrollably.
Keanu - Try to act cool while being secretly terrified of everything that moves.
Lok - Rationally analyse the situation and formulate an escape plan, while preparing contingencies.
Rose - Get bored and start punching through walls looking for an exit.
Natsumi and Kukui - Go looking for ghosts to make friends with them.

I've actually made a whole episode based on this concept.

I would have done more of the classical tropes, The painting with the moving eyes, The suit of armor that comes to life, A musical instrument that plays by itself, ect. But I'm glad I was able to break away and do something no one would have ever expected.

My character IS trapped --well, currently visiting-- a haunted house! She reacts with frightened curiousity.

Ooh. My characters are perfect for this prompt xD

Clara: Look for something to break the windows and escape before asking the ghosts to haunt her enemies :joy:
Joo-hyuk: Hide behind Clara and just follow her every lead, making sure he doesn't lose her

Yohan: Act tough before he starts losing it and running around the house :joy:
Andrew: He won't even go near the haunted house and stubbornly wait outside since he's too scared to venture inside... Until he hears Yohan screaming for help. Then he'll go all macho-mode and storm inside to save his first love, lols.

Hae-eun: She'll probably roll her eyes and kick open the door or wait until someone rescues her
Hyuk: Befriend all the ghosts inside and share his stories of his past lives :joy:

@RaichiousMuffin, @Rollins. I've had a look at them and both of your stories look really interesting. If either of you are interested, feel free to have a look at mine and subscribe if you like it:

I'm interested to know how Joo-hyuk justifies hiding behind Clara. As for Hyuk, I'd imagine being someone with multiple past lives, ghosts are not really something that would faze him.

Haha this is such a fun thread!

At this point of my team's story:

  • Master would rejoice in having a legit excuse to not work on his thesis.
After ensuring he has evidence of having been kidnapped and trapped in a (haunted) house, maybe he'll take a nice, long nap.

  • Bomeo would just go "Oh BO!!" from any noise & pretend it's some inanimate object.
Some ghost or trapped victim would later pick it up as toy or blanket :joy:

My main character; Mukhtar, being still a kid would most likely explore the house out of curiosity over caution thanks to his stubbornness. Once he explore some paranormal activities, he would run away far from the house and warn the Sheik to advice others never to enter that house. He's not yet in the comic but he is born at the near end of the prologue, The next chapter will be about him and it will be released this year.

I see, I had a look through your comic and I really like it, Bomeo is cute whatever it is . I subbed. Feel free to check out my novel if you're interested, and subscribe if you like it:

Aww thanks!!

Ooh your novel looks exciting! Will binge it when I got time~

my main heroes would each mostly disregard any ghosts, they have seen much worse and if the ghosts want to do something each of the knights can basically trash the house and maybe some of the surrounding area, and the main villain ... he would enslave any and all ghosts there

Okay this was fun for the last one so I'm going to do the Gods of Our Mothers next. There's a lot of side characters, so for this, I'm just going to focus on the main public facing team.

Clemency would just be freaked out and annoyed in equal measure. She fights HUMANS, not ghosts, and this is way above her pay grade. My girl would be all bravado while quietly and internally having a goddamn meltdown. It would only show with how jumpy she is, and the entire scene would end with her having one too many jumpscares and accidentally blowing out multiple walls and making an exit. RIP that house. Lilian would be calm, cool, and collected, focused on keeping track of everyone and not letting anyone get separated while figuring out how to appease the ghost enough to let them out. She's definitely the mediator in this situation. Deliverance...... Deliverance would be insufferable. Just flat out nightmare purposefully antagonizing the ghost for kicks. Since she can somewhat make herself intangible by breaking down herself into a telekinetic wave of flowers, she'd literally be playing chicken with the ghost. My girl has no regard for her personal wellbeing, and will leaving the ghost wishing they died with a fucking flamethrower.

Lilian deserves so much better than this disaster duo. Poor thing.

I see, well I guess if you've fought worse than ghosts then a haunted house doesn't even count as a regular Tuesday right?

:joy: so basically, you're saying that Deliverance would in essence end up haunting the ghosts? I see, well that's a reversal of the situation. Basically she won't be locked in there with the ghosts, the ghosts will be locked in there with her?

Thanks for all the replies, just so you know, since so many of you seem to have enjoyed this thread, I've created a new one called What would your character do? [Ancient Treasure Edition]. Check it out if you have the time.

Fuchsia will use her smarts to get everyone out of the haunted house.
Sina will pulverize anything of a corporeal nature with her cybernetic hands or use her techy stuff to learn more about the haunted house.
Bren is an ex-cop and the calm one of the bunch. He will try to keep everyone out of danger but will probably be distracted by Jax.
Jax will be freaking out since his hypersenses will be in overload and he most likely will be crying a bunch while clinging to Bren.
Nix will be chill because its a black cat and feels right at home.
