I've been watching a lot of videos on hyper-consumerism and I think a lot of it is fueled by social media envy. Like with the whole Labubu trend, most of these people are probably watching videos of content creators hunting down Labubus and unboxing them. The viewer then feels FOMO and feels motivated to do the same. If they make a video about it, the cycle continues.

Ironically, toy companies did something similar about 10 years ago. They sent out blind bag toys to toy reviewers on YouTube and found that it help motivate their child audience to buy the toys. However since the crack down of kid's content on YT, I think this happens less often. But it's weird to see this strategy also works on adults.

Regardless if you believe the Bible is written by men or by God, point is, this was written as a rebuke because people have been judgemental on appearances since Biblical times.

The issue with Blackpill online culture is that they are obsessed with appearances and get stuck in a mindset that "If she got to know me, she would see I am a nice guy." However, he ends up being a biggest asshole and no self awareness and that is what is driving women away, not his appearance.

These same people also judge how women look and don't have the ability to see past less conventionally attractive features on women. They only want the super model girlfriend and then gets upset when she doesn't want to date them.

Israel has been violating this human right for the Palestinians by heavily restricting their freedom of movement since the 60s.

I'd argue they've been doing that since the foundation of the country, seeing how it got started by the violent removal of Palestinians from their homes.

Just to be clear, the problem is not Gaza, is Hamas that is screwing their own people and commiting multiple war crimes.

While it's true that Israel restricted freedom of movement, Hamas was way crueler....they went after civilians to kidnap, torture and do unspeakable things against them.

Also, wanna know the best part off all this? There was so much intelligence available that October 7th was about to happen, it literally could have been avoided if the Israeli government did something anything to stop it. And as @NickRowler said, Hamas exists because of Israel's violence against Palestinians. In fact, it is thanks to Israel that they're calling the shots in the Gaza strip.
