In my social psychology class this morning, the professor mentioned that people will think you're sexier if you wear red or surround yourself with the color.
I'm probably not the authority on the subject, but I have to disagree. I think people look hottest in gray~. It goes with everyone's skin tone; in fact, it actually brings out all of your body's colors with its contrast. Hair, eyes, lips, you name it.
Red, on the other hand, is my favorite color, but I almost never wear it because it tends to make me look like a bucket of fried chicken: greasy and gaudy. =/ If your skin has a brown/orange base tone (like mine...), it's probably either gonna clash hard or pop dramatically on you, which isn't exactly what I'd call sexy. To be perfectly honest, I don't think you'll get that true 'saxophone trill' visual effect unless you're either lightly tanned or very fair-skinned...and that's hardly the whole world.
...Is it because of Valentine's Day?? That just occurred to me as a possible third variable...I wonder if the researchers looked into that...
Anyway, what do you think? ^^
