Since i didn't get any reply for coloring a part of my webcomic here, and i have no more ideas about where to ask for this little thing, i was wondering if any of you in the community know a specific or anyway more fitting place where i can start looking for a colorist who might do just the flat colors for my webcomic, maybe it will be hard if i won't be able to pay them, still if you happen to know some website or forum or group, please share your info's with me here ^^ thanks!

Most people on the forums here are busy with their own projects, so there tends to be little incentive for non paying jobs. There's also not really a good reason why you can't color it yourself, other than that you don't want to.

You could try DeviantArt's forums, perhaps? That's the only alternative that comes to mind. :+1:

Oh i see, it does make sense indeed, Actually i have a very good reasons here, at least for me xD doing all the job alone would eat up a lot of time i've been waiting myself a lot before publishing it (also because first i want to finish all the pages with colors and proper translations and only then publish weekly updates likes everyone here on Tapas) i would still make 3/4 of the job of course, flat colors are just the basis so the rest is all up to me.

You're choosing to do it in a way that makes the publishing take longer. I'm not sympathetic. :joy:

BUT I wish you the best of luck!

Maybe you should train your speed at drawing/coloring.

Here some people shared some tips

You could... not color it?
Ask a friend who has... no hobbies?
Or do it monochromatically? A good example would be The Ghosts of Oddville. Its all purple but still stunning. Maybe even more so, since it gives it a really unique feel.

Personally I love color, and I find it the easiest and quickest step. Everyone is different. (Lines are the worst for me, I hate lining and it takes forever.) If you're not confident in your ability to pick colors that look good together, less is always more!

Wait, just doing flats? I can do that easy wont even take a full day for one page. Do you have a sample page you'd like me to fix up for you?

I do hope you mean only flats and not cell shading as well.

I wouldn't mind working with you, though I'd be doing mostly hand coloring.

If you can't pay with money, you can still offer a favor in exchange, like doing a review of other's comics, promoting their comics in your social media, or anything else. The important thing is to give something in exchange, I think.

This is a little unusual, but you could try looking in porn forums. I've seen a few hentai forums that have coloring threads every so often. Bored colorists will offer to color pieces by request just because they are bored or want the practice, so these artists clearly time on their hands. For taking on a large project like a comic series, however, they may want some type of compensation even if it's just another Rule 34 drawing of their favorite characters.

I'd love to help out! I could do a sample page for you if you like?

Not at all! I'm still learning and properly getting into flatting, but I do my best to do a good job, and I'd be happy to help you out if I can.

These are very good!
Actually i'm having some trouble trying to organize stuff, but i will contact you if i'll be in deadline troubles!
