The Garbage Pail Kids from the movie. I don't even wanna put the pictures up, cause I'm gonna have nightmares.

My brother used to collect pogs from various movies/shows/games/etc...

He had many pogs of those Garbage Pail Kids. They were horrifying.

The Abominable Snowman from the Rankin Bass Rudolph special. Compared to some things I was scared of it really wasn't that bad, so I'm not sure why he scared me so much!

Definitely Slappy. When I was a kid, I had to sleep with the lights on, otherwise I'd think he was there in the dark waiting for me :eyes:

When I was a kid, I used to think Venom from Spiderman was hiding in my closet every night, and it terrified me to have my door open at all. But now as an adult, I love Venom, though he still scares me a bit.

Chucky from Child’s Play on the other hand....
Hell. No.

Excuse you, the moon from Courage was one of the many horrors of that show including this one glorious hell of a man;

and for some reason Jeepers Creepers himself

That ghost lady from The Grudge was the bane of my existence as a child.

The tall man from Phantasm...

and The Thing...

Not so scary anymore- I have the first 2 Phantasm movies & The Thing on DVD and watch them almost every year.

I still wanna know who's idea it was to create this fucking thing

Jeepers Creepers spooked me to death when I was like 9 years old... I don't even remember why.

Ronald McDonald (clowns in general are creepy)
This weird animated short about a circus and bald vampires, can't remember the name though

I was spending the nights at a friend's house, and some how we ended up watching 13 Ghosts.

Guys, I'm not joking. This movie has messed me up for LIFE. I still have a hard time watching ghost movies because of it.

This is the Jackal. The number one reason I had to sleep with the lights on for months as a kid.

And this is Princess. Also from the same movie.

You know you've been scarred for life when you still remember their names. I'm 23 years old and I'm still not sure I can watch this move now lol

any fear of fictional characters always seemed dumb to me as a child, until
