Who's in love in your comic this Valentines?

I had a number of choices as far as couples go but I went with these...

In Suck it!! it is quite noticeable that this dude Tak has a thing for the lead Kay. I've been trying to keep a balance of subtle and obvious... Since I don't want to portray the girl as totally oblivious :'D

Grey and Sabot from Stray Cats obviously really like each other. Unfortunately they haven't been able to meet back up since they had soup in chapter two and then half the city blew up...it doesn't help that they're both pretty sure that the other is dead..

It's still a little early in the overall story, but there is one official couple in Vatican Assassins: Tzouras Chatzi and Mandolin Rigoli

Though there is some unrequited love going on, if only some boys could get their acts together. First we have poor Fife O'Reilly with a major crush on the older Celesta Adagio....

But he's got competition! Euphonium Sipos also has a crush on Celesta!

Not to mention Baritone Walpezchek and Flute Vermicelli having secret crushes on each other...

And Xy Phobus's ill fated crush on Rosemary of WITCHNIGHT....

So there's a whole lot of love flying around in the Assassins' world! I guess that's what happens when you put a slew of divinely-powered teens all together!

My plot is extremely character-driven and quite dependent on the characters' feelings, among other things, so romance is inevitable, haha. There's Marian who falls in love at first sight with a serial killer, which is...well, I don't even need to explain why that's bad.

Today I also happened to change my website's header to a Valentine's themed one with two other characters who just recently met in the comic but are already getting along very, uh, not at all, but that's just code for "too proud to admit they don't mind the other's existence."

I also drew Valentine's cards featuring my four main characters--it started off pretty cheesy but then I decided to just completely ruin it.

My comic's scarce on romance at the moment. Our protag already starts off being broken up and forever sulking over his ex, so Vday is usually our excuse to torture him. At least there's always Death.

No one's in love in my comic Life of an Aspie at the moment. Takeshi and Eiji no doubt probably got a fair amount of chocolates from the girls in their ninth grade class. (LoaA begins with the teen characters about to start their first year of high school which in Japan is basically their version of 10th grade going off the Western Education System.)

Hiroshi's more concerned about his academics and his future as a veterinarian. Susan's grandmother Helen is at an age where she doesn't really care about most holidays. In the past however she's gotten some nice things on Feb. 14th and even shared several of her Valentine days with close friends/lovers/former spouse.

Susan, the aspie of the series, wishes she has someone to share it with. She only sees Hiroshi as a brother and she's not on good terms with Takeshi and Eiji at the moment. There's also the subject of her asperger's either turning off guys who might be interested in her or leading them on by accident only for her to be like "nahh we don't click. Thanks but no thanks" I'll probably make a silly comic about Valentines day involving her later.

Mia has a crush on a boy named Chris (who, until recently had a girl friend and didn't notice her)

Tristan confessed he was in love with Elaina

And Crimson Rhen, as always, is in love with himself

While the Squire pines after Princess Rona (who sees him as a silly boy and thats all), we did recently find out (SPOILERS AHOY) that Mindy the water spirit was once amorous with Azros the Zarzos (say that five times fast).

From Malleus Maleficarum - though uncertain about what his feelings actually mean, Fenris thinks of it as having "strong emotions" for Alice. He doesn't stop to think about it, and doesn't expect the feelings to be returned. But he wants to look out for her, and is happy when he's by her side.
I may do a Valentines skit of this ship when it progresses in the future xP
