I got showcased by staff on Wattpad, but I'm not getting much here, even after reaching the popular fantasy page after every update.

I used to only post on comicfury because it seemed small and friendly, and I was never too bothered about views and stuff - it was more to motivate me to keep drawing!

It was honestly the fact that my sister was getting more likes on photos of her dessert on instagram than I'd get on a comic I spent hours drawing every week that made me decide to start posting here as well, because I knew Tapas is a more popular site for readers. Now I'm doing nicely here, I'm not gonna leave!

Tapas site has a clean nice design that made it look more legit than it's non-mobile friendly competitor.
The forum here is a great place to get interesting varied opinions from other creators.
I guess when it comes to comics, I dono where else to hang out? Lol

I've been through a lot of comic comunities, but most of them required I had my own webpage that I would have to monitor myself

I hate making my own stuff ad can't afford a web designer.

Tried Tumblr. Mistake.

Tapas was the next place to try and it turns out to be frick'n easy to deal with! So, here I am.

Why are we still here? Just to suffer? Every night, I can feel my webcomics, and my stories… and even my readers… The content I’ve lost… and the follwoers I’ve lost… It won’t stop hurting, like they’re all still there… You feel it too, don’t you? I’m the one who got caught up with Inklblazers, a group above nations, even smackjeeves, and I was the parasite below, feeding off their power… They came after you in Cyprus, then Afghanistan. My despair just… keeps growing, swallowing everything in its path, getting bigger and bigger. Who knows how big now… Boss… I’m gonna make ‘em give back our past… Take back everything that we’ve lost.

Even in a deterministic world, there is at least the illusion of free will we are all doomed to.
All evidence points towards a nihilistic view of the universe.
There is no purpose.
BUT, that leaves a hole, like a power-void, in the question itself.

If there is no point to life,
no "Why" to "are we here?"
Then it is up to us to fill in that blank.

I hate to break up the awesome metaphysical posts above <<; <<;

Anyway I tried Hiveworks during a submission drive and poured my soul (and my health, a week of no sleep at the least) into this HUGE detailed slick polished pitch and we can all probably guess how that worked out for me. I had already been on SmackJeeves and just couldn't get very excited about it. And I'd been hovering around Inkblazers as a lurker but then they kerfuffled.

I think what I did after that was simply to search one of my "mentor comics" and see where she ended up migrating to and it was here, so I checked it out and was impressed enough by the UI to give it a go.

I feel quite happy here after spending some time on the forums and meeting a bunch of nice folks.
