As much as I would love comments and likes, I also like knowing that people are clicking out of curiosity. I do know I will face challenges as a 3D artist, which is reflected in here. I do like my graphic novels gaining exposure for a couple of reasons. There is an off-chance that someone will like what I am saying, but have some critical comments about how I am doing it. Or there is a chance someone will like it regardless of the format and any limitations it is presenting.
As an artist, I like to be able to grow. I love my family members and friends, but sometimes they cannot provide the objective feedback. Granted, opinions can be quite subjective, but there are certain form and styles that are objective. For instance, I have gotten comments on stiffness, which has gotten me curious how to solve. I would not be able to get curious about that if I did not have anyone viewing my content.:)
In a peer review fashion, I think more eyes does help the growth of a comic. If someone asks "Why is such and such draw this way"..it can allow the artist to explore what they are doing and how to make things better. The more eyes that evaluate, the more possible feedback.:)
