To be honest, I think a lot of stories written with passion should be read because we all have something unique to offer even if people do the same tropes, genres, themes, etc.
At the end of the day each story is very unique and offers something the other ones can't. I still consider myself an inexperienced author but I learn daily how to improve. Writing is a beautiful art form.
I am not going to tell you, you should read my story. I will however will say a couple things real quick that may align with you to possibly enjoy my story. If not, that's completely okay.

I love series like Percy Jackson, Hunger Games, Divergent, Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, etc. This book I am writing is my first book out of 5.
It is a fantasy action and fantasy mystery book that combines many elements from each of the books from elemental magic, gods, world building mysteries, feudalistic politics, elves, etc.
I love world building so much that all my novels in this series and my future books will also be connected to the same overall universe. Let me drop my summary and let me know what you guys think!
Thank you to Everyone who has read my story so far I can't believe we are practically at 2,000 views already. You guys are the best!
I would be happy to checkout some of your guy's story as well (nonsub4sub just a chance to look around) ^^

Summary: In a world where magic dictates power, Keeper Academy soars above the clouds, training the chosen few to become elite Worldkeepers. Nico Lotus, an underdog with a shadowed past, faces impossible odds among prodigies. But when Nico uncovers a forbidden magic that could reshape the world, he must choose: embrace this dangerous power or risk everything for the friends he's made. As darkness looms within the academy, the fate of the realm hangs in the balance._

  • The story is Romance Fantasy (RoFan).
  • The story is set in an open world gacha (think about Genshin Impact or Wuthering Waves).
  • The MC gets transported as an NPC meant to d1e in the game's story.
  • The male leads are the game's protagonist and the antihero.
  • This is the book cover.

My story is an interactive version of the fairy tale Jack and the Beanstalk, where readers can influence the course of the plot.
I take all the suggestions made by readers into consideration, even if I can't always use of all of them:

Also my comic has a talking wolf. Who doesn't love talking wolves?

Not to be a buzzkill, but I don't like talking wolves. :yum:

  • A diverse ensemble of extraterrestrials
  • A Science-Fantasy Epic too big to pass up
  • Perspectives told from both heroes and villains
  • Queer, Neurodivergent and Disability representation
  • Unexplored worlds across the galaxy
  • Battles ranging from 1v1 to cosmic scale

Wow, I really am bad at this. But let me try anyway. Why you should read "The Crazy Daughter of the Duke's Family"?

  • It's a Fantasy novel set in another world, with less technological advances, but more magic instead

  • It's a romance, but very, very slow burning. First, family will be brought back together, and friendships will be made.

  • Female Lead herself stems from a world that is our current one, which is proven by countless pop-cultural jokes

  • The original world of the FL has a twist to it and so does she - there was the same type of magic there, just a different way and state of evolution; the protagonist fought monsters as a child soldier with a monster contracted to her, before waking up as a misguided noble lady

  • It's a typical transmigration story, but I did my all to iron out all the things that have always irked me about most transmigration plots; all the small details that didn't get an explanation, or were simply taken for granted, but not make it seem like some parody of itself or something contantly calling out other transmigration stories for their faults.

  • Follow the protagonist on a journey of trial and error, as she vows to live a different life from before, only to end up just the same, yet different at the same time.

Other than that, you would have to be the ones who tell if I manged to make right on those promises or not.

Ten Reasons why I would recommend reading The Viscount and The Playwright:

  1. Angst
  2. Toxic/unbalanced relationship not presented as a romance
  3. Complex female characters that are not unbearable or irredeemable
  4. Will have some paranormal stuff going on
  5. Plot twists and foreshadowing (maybe...)
  6. Inspired by Greek Mythology, specifically the Homeric Hymn of Demeter and the Abduction of Ganymede
  7. Will have feminine rage
  8. All of my main characters are queer
  9. Inspired by classic and Gothic literature
  10. I was inspired by shows like Gravity Falls and Bojack Horseman, and movies like Crimson Peak

(Bonus: Will have sensitive topics after the first episode, so be warned)

You should read my story because it is fun, to the point, has a good mystery and breaks toxic tropes while bringing back the ones that are wholesome.

The Poisoned Chalice is a dark fantasy centered around the youngest prince of an empire and his journey in taking the throne...both through his cunning and a chalice of poison or two

You might like my story because:
- It`s about life itself
- Friendship to Romance
- Just two girls trying to navigate life and by that fall in love
- There is something romantic about a lighthouse
- Wisdom from a great grandfather

I hope you check it out

I've commented on this often to people promoting their story, yet not really promoting it.

Yeah, it is really weird how many people think just putting a link with no indication of what their story is about is going to work. Like, would you read a story without even a fun fact listed? No? Yeah.

Yeah exactly, it's like they put zero effort at all in trying to promote or showcase what their story about is at all.

Why should you read a comic about a chicken?

  • Features a plucky and preachy chicken that's a friar, and a fryer. His name is Friar.
  • Also, Alec Tryon, human antagonist who really is just some ordinary family guy facing failures of the corporate kind. He runs TFC.
  • Chicken puns...and some jokes that'll fly over your head!
  • Bucky is in it. No, I will not explain further.
  • Family drama, and drama in the coop!
  • Chicken cults/clans and exploration of religion
  • Think YOU can't draw cars? Let me prove you wrong!
  • Submission to the Order is not required (as in subbing, I'll just be happy you're a reader)

Why you should NOT read:
- You're a vegan! (kidding, but animals may be harmed)
- Creator has no handle on her schedule atm, lol
- Comic has devolved into scroll format--the horror!
- My first badly drawn face of Alec may scare you away! (style gets better for real tho)

Thank you for this thread! I think people would enjoy "Signs Point to Bobbie" because...

  • It follows the life of a deaf teenager, which is a pretty rare perspective in comics.

  • It's a light hearted slice of life that's easy to binge.

  • I've been told the characters feel very real and are easy to connect with!

Give it a shot, if you'd like!

This is a pretty unique thread. I do think some may come to enjoy my story because...

-You get to watch a relationship form a change; you will get to experience not just the main couple's hardships and good times but the other characters as well, creating a feeling that the characters are all living together and know, love, and respect each other as one big family.

-I've been told a few times that the characters are relatable and, overall, easy to get attached to

-As the story progresses, things will change, and it will become much more than just a romance story

However, some may not like the slow-burn aspect of the story but may come to appreciate the foreshadowing the story will offer at times, and I do hope you will give it a chance!
