I assume by Tapastic you mean the forums? Or do you mean the comments in the comics?
Either way it all depends on how big it gets. At the moment, with the relatively small number of regular users, it's pretty homogenous, therefore, it's pretty peaceful. That isn't to say small flare ups haven't occurred. I myself have had a slight run in with what I consider a small but vocal sex-negative contingent that seem to congregate here.
But small contingents, whoever they are, inevitably grow to become cliques, and where there are cliques, there's politics, gatekeeping, language policing, shunning... well, you know the drill.
I don't see much, if any, of this happening here yet, but it's happened everywhere else in every other community where popularity strikes, so I don't see any reason to think it won't here if the numbers swell enough.
Now, having said that, unfriendliness is rampant on places like Twitter and Youtube, which, even despite their crazy new policies and tendency to censor, are still amazingly positive places. Not positive in friendly sense, downright unfriendly a lot of the time actually, but nonetheless incredibly positive contributions to civilisation.
