It definitely can be. I think I got two goddesses mixed up because they have two very similar key points, and for some reason, when I talk about one, I really mean the other one. But this is a big breakthrough. Once my brain stops being pudding, I can really get somewhere.

Got my end of semester exams in three weeks, but i want to write but i also want a degree so that i can be a economically and intellectually independent woman some day. My Priorities have never been this conflicted before, but hey thats the thing about growing up right?

You have three weeks to get ready for your exams.
That makes 21 days.
You can perhaps dedicate 1h each day to writing, not more than that. It would help with your writing urges and you'd also have enough time to study and prepare and get your degree!

Agreed. You gotta give yourself something to relax even while studying. Don't feel bad! You certainly need to spend more time studying but that doesn't mean you need to completely cut yourself off from what you love. Relaxing is part of studying too.

Yesterday was the day of 'eurekas' and breakthroughs. I feel as if I've seen a light at the end of the tunnel, and I managed to really break away at the barriers stopping me. Today, I finished laying down some very important foundations for world building.

The one thing I always worry about, no matter how "good" my writing gets, is my ability to write detail about a place. I want it to be descriptive, and I want the imagery to jump out a people, but at times, I worry it will be overwhelming. Ah well. Thankfully I have an outside set of eyes to look things over for me, if it gets too confusing. (...F-friends. I mean, friends. I don't have a set of eyes in a jar to review my work for me. If only eye jars were so useful.)

Yayy that's great! Glad for you!

Also, as for descriptions, might I advise you to take a look at @Ubby 's An Honorable Wish3? The description of world and places in there are really amazing, it really jumps at you (also the story is awesome, if you're looking for something to read... But yeah, descriptions are the best part).

Awww I really thought for a moment that you had a pair of eyes in a jar looking over your shoulder at your page and saying "yeah mate, this is good, but maybe slow down on the description and gimme some good old action scene, ey?" through telepathy

I read the first episode and I'm very interested in seeing the rest!

"The sky was the kind of deep blue that tried to put the ocean to shame." Well, dang, I'm convinced. And embarrassed, gotta work on my own descriptions...
Really nice suggestion.

I'm done with drawing for the day. I plan to work on the next chapter of Goddess in Her Dreams so I can post something in the coming week or so. I have yet to stick to a fixed schedule for posting because the story can be quite difficult to write. Not that I don't like it, I mean I really do (and I'm open about how I it's somewhat of my favorite among my other works), but with the diverse lore I'm developing, I just want to make sure everything checks out and I don't have all the scenes outlined. Like I know what's going to happen or what the general story will be, but not the specifics... and that's one of the challenging things there. Not to mention that I feel like the story is a bit of a slow burn. It can get demotivating too, seeing that there is not much progress on the viewership and subs lol q-q

Thanks a lot~ Aah. I'm definitely trying. I just wish I didn't have so much I wanted to do.

The burden of an ambitious and creative mind

Take it slow, take it easy, your health needs to be your primary focus. Don't overpush yourself, you have all the time in the world to make all these awesome projects of yours!
Here, have another hug :hugging:

8 days later

Seems an interesting challenge, I don't know a thing about baseball but I'll definitely give it a look!

12:54 and the first cup of coffee.

Damn I started today off slow. But, actually feel like writing for once. I've been getting too many new ideas and nothing is coming up for anything I've already started. So, I'm going to try and write out everything new in the hopes that they're clogging up the creativity stream up there in muh noggin'.

Today's new thing to write and see if it's worth pursuing:

"Gore and Rot"
An immortal cannibal (think moody vampire) and her energetic undead servant have been in hiding for the better half of a century, waiting for people to forget about them. The spunky servant wants to see the world outside again and be adventurers or warlords or whatever her mind can think of since she's been locked up with her master for so long. Is it time to go instill chaos or provide the people with a new hero for the problems that plague them? Let's find out!
