Tons.
We teach mythology off-campus. We just never thought of setting it up as a webcomic though. ^^

One of my short stories takes a modern spin on Xezbeth - the demon of lies and legends.

Summary: Desperate to win the student council election, a poor student uses the online disinformation platform, Xezbeth, to drag his female opponent to the grave - metaphorically. But to Xezbeth, right or wrong doesn't matter. Money is king.

Mine has several mythological themes including,

A greek/nordic type pantheon of gods.

-The appearance of mythological monsters and some medieval ones. I can't wait to introduce the true Chimera. Most monsters are collectively called chimera, but the actual Lion/goat/snake Chimera will make an appearance in the future.

Just to be upfront my lore doesn't directly reference any actual earth lore, but I am trying to draw from those kinds of themes in my own story.

Mine takes mythology from all over the world an operates on the idea: “What if everyone was a little bit right.” Most of the myths covered originate from British, Mayan, Greek, and Chinese mythologies. But, honestly, it’s a fun hodgepodge of things—some of which you’ve probably never heard of—wrapped into a peculiar world.

Hey there! Norse is the main mythological theme of my novel, but other folklore (animal based characters) are also sprinkled around.

Hi! This is part 2 of my norse mythology inspired comic.

I enjoyed mixing several Mythos, usually the tragic ones from ancient times (The Greek sisters of Fate, Troy, Roman Mythos etc)

And also add some elements of Eastern History on it (Like the Ottomans, the Huns and the 3 Kingdoms period kek)

Feel free to check it out

My novel Jade Kingdoms is inspired by the Hindu mythology of the dragon Vritra, who stole the waters of the world until he was slain by the demi-god Indra. I took the legend and used it as the history of my world.

Katabasis takes a bit of inspiration from mythology- primarily Russian folklore/fairy tales. But it has (or will have) nods to Japanese, Greek/Roman, Egyptian, Welsh, North American lore, and other regions' myths as well.

Although that will mainly come through in character/place names and designs. The story doesn't feature mythical figures themselves :v

my next novel is a fantasy trilogy heavily inspired by Norse mythology. Complete with my own original fairy tales

My current webcomic is heavily inspired from across the world, but the main ones in this story are greek, norse, inuit, asian, asian(Russia, Japan and Korea) aztec and American folktales.

It's not mine, but @ChristianShower wrote Ebony Pin which is based off of Chinese Mythology.
