Your biggest dreams or goals as a creator?

One of my dreams for now is to be able to make a living in doing my OWN artworks much like Shilin or Sakimi-chan although my skill are nowhere as near as theirs. Still a longshot.

Another is to be able to finish all my Original Character's stories and give them a fanbase.

I used to dream to create an animation series as well but I've thrown it out the window because you need to have huge funds and huge manpower to do that.

I want to give something of value to the webcomic community while acquiring a huge fanbase in the process.

Specifically, I want to give the autistic/aspie crowd a voice in a world where most people still don't quite get autism/asperger's. I want people to actually think before they casually throw such terms around as an insult to people who may or may not be somewhere on the spectrum. I want to "normalize" people like me in other words. Keep what makes us tick, but also show we're still people just like our neurotypical brothers and sisters, NOT the butt of internet jokes.

My dream is to put my comics in the hands of the readers. I want people to read and enjoy my story just as much as I enjoy other artist's work. Recently I decided to venture outside of my comfort zone for my secondary comic and work on a genre I usually don't work on which is romance and slice of life. The secondary is a romantic drama (I have ventured into drama throughout me life) with slice of life elements. This way if I read more than one type of story I have a wider range of readers to read my comic. This also if I get a little tired of one I can switch to the other.

My biggest goals are:

1) Finish A Legend (of some sort) and print a small run of nice color paperbacks

2) Eventually, someday, have one solid bookshelf's worth of printed works created by me (graphic novels, prose novels, book of plays, etc)

Number 2 is sort of a natural progression of Number 1.

I am just semi-resistant to owning stuff solely in digital format - I own about 400 books, 15000 comic books/graphic novels/manga, 600 dvd/blurays, 200 cds... and i want to feel the book in my hands when I am done!

Also, I store it in digital so I can take it and read it with me so I have like access to a few hundred if I wanted to read any of them, that's all.

1) See how it connects with others. I wrote my comic when I was at one of my lowest points in life. I felt really lost and scared, and invisible, and I know there's a lot of people out there who feel the same. I want them to know they aren't alone, but also whatever they're going through, I believe in them to get through their turmoils. My cast is also diversified with lbgt+, pocs and characters with disibilities, but I make sure their personality stands out more so they're not some token character.

And I guess another thing would be to improve my art. I've seen a lot of webcomics go from crude art to phenomenal. I hope this medium gives me the opportunity to improve in drawing and storytelling.

I don't care about money at the moment, I just want to create something that will really leave a mark in people and won't ever be forgotten in the future.

I want to make a story that will sway people's emotions and give insight to others - one that would be considered literature.
Something along the lines of the next Evangelion, in terms of depth and its survival through time.
