Your Comics' Taglines

What are some taglines you've used for your comic(s)? If you have one that is. Feel free to give your reasoning/idea behind them, too.

For example...
For Daniel, "A Grave Tale Of Horror" and "Don't Invite Death Into Your Life" are a couple I've used.

The first is a play on words, related to both the grim mood of the comic and how Daniel is murdered in the story (live burial). I have mixed feelings about this tagline now, but it stuck nonethless. XD I've also used an even lamer variation - "A Vampiric Tale of Horror".

The second tagline is related to how Christine invites Daniel back into her life, leading to the shitstorm that is the story. XP

Oh lordy being buried alive nah that's okay.

For Galebound, I've used "Think quickly, but above all, think" as a tagline of sorts. It's a phrase that has a lot of meaning for Conan, the MC, and will start showing up in-story hopefully soonish (funny thing is I actually used it on tomorrow's page but it faded into the background too much). Without spoiling anything, it's a phrase that someone important to Conan once asked of him, and something he's going to need to keep in mind throughout the story.

Edit: And the joke tagline: "Surprisingly not BL."

I think the only one I've ever used is "Stay Creepy"... since Creep is the name of the comic and also one of the characters.
It's pretty lame, but ¯\ (ツ )/¯

for my other comic, that I'm working on buffer for, it's "How much are you willing to sacrifice for someone?"
Can't really explain it much because spoilers but , it's not based on an abusive relationship by any means - just for reassurance. it's just the MC trying to make another character happy even if it means unintentionally hurting others. :y

That's it. That's like, the whole freaking plot.
I hope it's more complex and nuanced than it sounds.

Centralia 2050's is typically "Lonely... but never alone." It refers to the characters' struggle to find a human connection in an unforgiving place, but also the oppressive surveillance-driven society they exist in. I might change it down the line but it works for now :T

Kamikaze uses "The Dust Never Settles."

It's used as a tip of the hat to the setting, a dust-bowl environment. It was also chosen because in our story we try to do our best to keep the tension high and the action on going. Even in the 'down time' moments we do our best to keep the momentum turning even if it's at a slower pace! So the dust never settles references the dust in a windblown city never stops moving and neither does the action.

A parody of "cute girls doing cute things" used to describe moe slice of life anime

It used to be "take your lifeforce into your own hands", but the story and title changed, so I'm currently going with something equally cheesy in "The strength of your memories is infinite." Glad I never ended up going into marketing, I tell you what.

I use: A webcomic about magic, ghosts and super villains for Magic Advisor.

I don't use it too often, but Edelweiss' tagline is 'our song is freedom, love, and life'. Its a lyric from one of the folk songs the group (the Edelweiss Pirates) my comic is based on used to sing. It sort of encompasses that whole tone I want to go for, it kinda reminds me of those modern day songs that are all about being young and taking on the world, but also with maybe a touch more seriousness? Plus those three aspects are brought up later in the comic so?? relevant.

i been tryin to come up with a good one for a while but the best i could do was "Gear Up." for a comic about a black hole boy who turns into robots to fight other robots
i feel like it shouldnt be this hard to make a tagline

I sort of made a poem for The Awlers in place of a tagline: "From where do Runners come,
And where do Runners go? The Wolpr must collect them to mend the world's woe."

It is my hope that, with each new turn of the story that warrants it, I can add another section to the poem. (That's not stupid, is it?) There's a lot of poetry within the work so, I figured it would fit the theme of Fantasy.

I'm a serial short comic creator, so I've had to come up with a bunch of these.

The Art of Monsters I had "Don't teach sculpture to supernatural beings"
Breaking the Lore I had "Her daughter is away with the fairies (literally)
until it transpired that half the English speaking world hasn't heard of the idiom "away with the fairies' so I ditched it.
Marginalia had Stories from the margins of my Life

And for my latest comic The Trapper Lad... I've not reaaaaaally got one other than 'Made with Real Coal!'
