Ooooh, sounds like good stuff :eyes:
Might have to check some out xD

@surenlicious Same!! I really want to keep up with other peoples things, but I also really want to keep up with my own xD This thread is already looking great tho (I wrote as I forgot I was the one that made it, lol)

@kmlangleyauthor very happy I'm not the only one xD Being behind on things is one thing I'm good at xD

@milejdyvan's Individuality:

I have yet to check it out yet, but I subscribed since I intend to read it ^^

And @Willowtree's The Love of a Werewolf

I have been reading it bit by bit, but haven't gotten very far, however I am enjoying it so far ^^

I tend to struggle with sitting down and reading novels, but I really love reading and I intend to read these two in their entireties. I have other novels on my list, but I want to start with these two

A thread for procrastinating readers? Hello, my people

Some of my absolute favourites have been mentioned already so I'll pick some that haven't and am shamefully behind on.

1) Occidendum by @Fuzed is a fantastic novel with great worldbuilding and nicely-written action scenes that draw you into the adventure!

2) The Turbulent March by @Berserker is a fantasy with a twist, with the protagonist being in Orc who has a talent for magic! Also noteworthy (amongst many other things!) is that this novel also updates with great illustrations, something I haven't yet seen in others on this site.

3) The Museum by @cherrystark is another one I'm like a million updates behind and another one that draws you nicely into the world. If you like modern fantasy then this is something worth reading.

@kmlangleyauthor Thank you so much!

Omg thank you so much @Lazuli and @ratscout for mentioning Devil's Triangle! This really made my day. :heart_03:

Haha that's a good call, Lazuli! I think reading it when it's close to finished may make it easier to pick up on all the subtle hints! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

And yeah @ratscout, I feel that way about our writing styles too! Maybe that's why I like your stories as well. :joy:

So like, WHEN will it be done? :joy:
Should I put a big fat ominous X in my calender or something xD

And hey, while you're here, give us your reading list :yum:

Lolol still some time away! Maybe mid next year haha?? :joy:
It's like Day X!

Haha yeah I was collating some!

Here are some that I've been enjoying recently:

M.L. Eaden (couldn't find the right tag)'s poly romance with great magic tech!

@fortunusgames 's drama novel that touches on parenting and chasing one's dreams

@Dysis 's fun magic thriller/mystery

and @ratscout 's fantasy story with wonderful world-building!

Get writing so I can give your story some love!! xD
Just kidding, take the time you need xD

Day X indeed!

Ooooh, haven't seen a lot of these before. And I really need to get around to reading Fortunusgames stuff. Sam keeps popping up everywhere on my instagram and twitter xD

Wait.... I just realized.... I FORGOT TO SUBSCRIBE OMG I'M-

I mean, my reading list is :sparkles:a story of things im way too far behind on :sparkles: but here's some things:

@foxnflames' Rise in the East is like the only one im up to date on. It follows the MC, Aderran, as he learns about the world around him and himself with no memories of his past, and its super lovely to read.

I'm SO FAR BEHIND on @BlunderingAlbatross's The End of All Things, and I shouldn't be 'cause it's honestly so good. Amazing worldbuilding and I can tell from where I left off the adventure is gonna kick off into something really exciting.

everything by @Abel is always on my reading list, but Red Hunger is shaping up goooooood. The erotic horror you've all always needed even if you don't think you do.

Do you believe in magic? by @kmlangleyauthor is also high on my catch up list, and it's so adorable I need to read it for the precious fluff. Also I know she's got some exciting things planned from my collab interrogation :eyes:

Finally, @douglasillusions has some incredibly underrated stuff!!! I already need to binge read Thief in the Night, which is almost/already finished, but her newer work The Saint George Chronicles is a MxM romance following a dragon and a knight of Saint George in their lives as public safety officers in a modern world full of fantasy creatures. Seriously, you are all sleeping on her writing!!! It flows beautifully and it's maturely written, go check it out!!

Being behind on things was the meaning of this thread, so that's great... Or... something xD

Haha I hope to get more writing done during my holiday! :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh yes FortunusGames has great comics AND novels!

Good luuuuuuuck

And indeed! FortunusGames has an amazing work ethic too. Just keeps popping up so much stuff O:

That Was Then by The Apple Seed. Heavy focus on past abuse and overcoming, depending on others, etc. Really enjoying this author's words.

This is so fun. Can't even explain. The MC is hilarious. This author always leaves me wanting more.

Actually, here's another one I need to sit down and get into again. I was thoroughly enjoying it for a while but have slipped lately!

I'm trying to keep up with a few. Thanks for the mentions @ratscout and @BlunderingAlbatross. I'm reading both their novels and they are very good.

I'm reading problems of an invisible girl by @may ravenwood. It is a heartfelt story about an girl raised by her foster mother, but treated like she doesn't exist. This lack of love or care leads to her manifesting her ability to become invisible. But she uses this ability to begin to make her life better.

Retribution by @Zorianna is about a young elfish warrior who sets out to find the Vikings who stole the heart from an ancient tree that protects her village. It is an exciting series, and I like how the elvish culture has a series of principles against killing. Many adventure stories add up quite a bodycount and it is nice to see a protagonist who doesn't take killing so lightly.

Prometheus Reanimated by @sarahmassey998 is a great series that tells a new story built from some great lore of the classic monsters and Lovercraftian tales. It sets up a whole universe around some of these stories and two famous creatures are front and center as the detectives of a great mystery.
