I'm smart.
First off, there is NO shame in having an in between job. After my first job in the art field, I had to work at a grocery store before I landed my next job at a game company. It happens, ESPECIALLY when you're still new and don't have a ton of experience. Nearly everyone I know in the field has had …
Hey thanks ! Since everyone seems to confirm it works, I'm going to assume it works in Australia too ! so no need to bother this someone, but I really appreciate it (:
Not sure by this point you are actually serious or just trolling or actually serious but means no harm because you are new? Sadly I have to inform you that I'm pretty sure the majority of your tips (???) will (probably) not help you become famous quick. People don't care about your online name, …
Look, Don't let anyone tell you that your art isn't good enough, because everyone has their own style. But, I don't want to accuse you of anything so I'm just going to say this: Don't spam social media. If you want to advertise, make a FB or a Tumblr and follow other blogs. I also noticed that 27 …
Currently no images can be uploaded to the forum until the servers are updated. The Tapas Team is aware of this issue and it is on their to do list. We currently have no schedule as to when they will have a chance to work on it.
Not to be a debbie downer or anything, but unless you find a super popular artist who'd be willing to work with you on the project - there's no guarantee that you'll make money in the first few months or chapters of a comic. Maybe pennies at most with ad revenue on. Comics take years to be 'successf…
They'd probably just go and make their own fan-versions of the characters as cat-boys or human.

@Heck HOW COULD I FORGET THE MOST ICONIC SKELETON OF ALL? I've seen this comic around!! I should sit down and read it some day, but I'm so bad at keeping track of comics that aren't on sites that keep them on a sub list like here (Seriously, how do people keep track of so many webcomics on their…
Can write Can't draw Can't pay artist = Write a novel. Or learn to draw, or talk to a reaaaally close friend who can draw and see if they have free time that they are willing to spare. But pitching a years long project with a random stranger for no pay is like.. that idea's got a snowflake's chanc…
That is a tremendous commitment to ask of an artist with no promise of payment. My usual analogy for drawing someone else's story is that it feels like babysitting someone else's child. Sure, it can be fun and you might even really care about the kid... but at the end of the day it's not your kid…
That is an awful lot to ask for if you aren't going to pay. Art is very hard work and you clearly have your own ideas for the direction of the story. If this is your passion project, you should try to do the art yourself! It may be hard to do at first but you'll have better control over the presen…
i hate to be the person to say this, but art is a really time-consuming occupation and it's a little presumptuous to ask for such a large, open-ended amount of unpaid labor.... -goji
I have never wanted anything more than to successfully name 1 out of 3 fictional doggos. I can die now.

Your mum is unexpectedly amazing. ...sorry I just had to.
i agree with @joannekwan with the quick strokes! here's an example with the hat, i had my stabilizer off for this [image] the slower the stroke, the more shakiness will pick up, so that might also be causing it to look that way!
