Here's my story. It's a dark fantasy about angels in a mysterious desert.

"Man, yet again, stands alone within the darkness."

That's an amazing joke. :joy:

Yeah, that part is pretty funny. Especially how the angel tried to save her by saying "you're out of her league man" to the demon and then just running away. What's the joke?

[image] This cover was inspired by one of my favorite paintings, Mikhail Vrubel's "The Demon Seated." [image] It's a Russian symbolist piece done in the 1890s in response to Mikhail Lermontov's poem "The Demon." While I always found the painting to be mysterious and awe-inspiring, I read the poem …

Hi, I based my first cover off a reference to some of my favorite art. Since my comic is pretty new I've tried to keep my characters in full view and nothing too dynamic so readers don't get confused. I also do a B/W then have a friend of mine color the full image. [image] [image]

I love the subtle detail you add in your comic. Its a very unique style with familiar aspects that keep me coming back for more! I would love some positive feedback as well if possible.

Great job! It's a really great feeling to get a readership at the start.

Genre: Fantasy/Horror Mines about a prosthetic engineer trying to survive in a hostile desert empire.

@WhoDrew I feel that the dynamic drawings in Gamers Guff really help spring the comic to life. However, I find the writing in Online Hassle hilarious, although I'll admit for some reason I find the visual quality a lot less satisfying. Just my thoughts though.

Ohhh I understand now. Thank you!

This comic is really good, love the coloring as well.

@NickRowler Thanks! So by buffer do you mean more space inside a panel or more breaks where no bubbles are shown? Sorry for not fully understanding.

I know how you feel, I'm actually going through it right now with my comic. I'd say the best way to "survive" the feeling of anxiety is to just focus on what you love about your comic and to keep writing concepts/ideas down.

Might as well post mine here.

I've even seen professionals improve or change their art style drastically over decades. This is a very natural thing to happen in series, although I would recommend trying to stick with a consistent art "theme" that doesn't bewilder your audience when you make bigger changes in your art.

Hey everyone, I've been making a comic for a while now and thought I would gather some critique on here since I love to lurk in this forum. Some of the main takeaway points I've observed from other new comic writers are collaborations and writing consistencies. I thought it would be fun to post my…

This project im working on atm was my first attempt ever at making a serious comic.

[image] Heres three main characters from my story, Black Briar.

Genre: Fantasy Horror Man, yet again, stands alone within the darkness. Burrowed within the sand, is a tyrant, obsessed with magical iron. Dooming man to repeat their mistake of reaching to touch the heavens. Many have tried and failed to gain freedom from the bloodshed of an endless internal p…

Hmm ok. Yeah after seeing it on mobile its very small. I might have to make two different versions since I like the computer version a lot. Thanks!

Thank you so much! I'll have to write notes on this for future translations since I can't change much now.

Oh yeah I didnt even think about white pages. I'll have to keep that in mind, also yeah transitioning consistency is very important. Thanks!

Oh wow, thanks for reading! Yeah, I got some help on translating but I guess it didn't pan out the way I wanted it to. Since I don't actually read Hebrew ill have to keep that in mind next time when getting someone. However, the goal was to make it sound more biblical. Is that why it sounds stiff?

This is my first spin at making webcomics. So any advice would be appreciated! I generally want to know how to increase readership and build a solid base on my platform before going for anything bigger. Also, let me know if you have anything to add about my comic!
