Hey everyone!

I'm Natasha Dancy, the writer and creator of the on-going webcomic Tethered!

It's a story that follows a young woman and a Medical Droid as they make their way through a dystopian Britain while they battle through the aftermath of a world war, one that broke down life as we know it, leaving behind the remnants of a damaged society as people try to survive.

I also have an axolotl called Bubs! (Short for Bubblegum Princess)! I love science-fiction, zombie stories (good ones), gaming, and being a general geek : P

I'm looking to make friends, share my story, and help others!

I am just shy of 5K coins, I just need to watch a few more videos! I was going to wait a bit longer, but don't mind tipping tomorrow if it will help!

HAHAHAHAHA XD We've only just seen this!!! Oh boy this made us laugh so much, you guys are adorable! Sorry for the confusion, we did it just as a joke after I changed that comic from "slice of life" to "romance" as we have our own weird kind of love XD EGG POWAH

I've got another comic here that is definitely under-appreciated here on Tapastic!! This guy is one of the first webcomic friends I made, and his comic and encouragement inspired me a lot to keep going with mine : ) plus his comic is about an Aztec God who got turned into an Axolotl after exploding …

My family give me courage, seriously...So many times I felt like "Seriously Tasha, what are you doing? Do you really have it in you to do this?", and my family will sit me down, look at me, place their hands on my shoulder and say "Tasha....I really want to slap you right now" XD So I take the hin…

XD A French speaking friend of mine said that Canadian French was really different from French speakers in France <.< Like, a lot of s…

If you want to do a course that is just drawing, then you want traditional animation! I did this course, and you literally don't do ANYTHING ELSE DX You will learn how to draw human and animal anatomy as well as learn many exercises to speed up your drawing skills. It is very intense though. If yo…

HAHAHAHAA!! XD It HAS to be that!

I look at inspirational images (or perhaps at photos of places I've been to that makes me feel super happy and fluffy!), go for walks in the countryside when the weather is good, talk to people who are enthusiastic about their projects, as it tends to remind me why it is I started mine : ) I find …

I do a LOT of research, into so much! Sometimes I look into where to set my comic (it's based in the UK, the characters are travelling North, so I want to pick cool settings!) I also research into a lot of medical conditions for some of my characters, the psychology behind AI and various theories…

Just to give an example, if you just quickly scroll down in this chapter you can see my characters inside a house, one scene is in the living room, and then they head into the kitchen. Because of all the fiddly details, and also the fact that there would be repeated objects because it was based in t…

Wow!! A really great selection of comics here! Have to admit I've actually spent today reading a LOT of these and subscribing! So thank you all for sharing!! @scythe I already follow Demon Archives : P the writer for that comic helps me out with Tethered! Have to admit, I did just subscribe to mos…

It is good to challenge yourself to different camera angles, perhaps freeze frame movies for inspiration of angles you want. Alternatively, I use google Sketchup someones to get the right angles. It's a free program and can provide you with a way to flesh out a basic scene layout and test various ca…

Something that might be useful to do is to do a couple of really rough tests, if you're wanting to work on an A4 sized document, just sketch out a few panel sizes and see what suits you. There is no wrong or right way, and a lot of the time the size of the panel depends on what you're trying to say.…

If you have time, please let me know if it's okay, or if there is anything else you think I could cover : ) hope it helps!

Hi! I've done a tutorial in regards to DPI : ) whenever you scan an image, I'd recommend looking through the settings, there should be somewhere something that states how large the DPI or resolution of the image will be after scanning. For the DPI tutorial please check out this link: http://tapa…

Okay, I've found someone who's definitely under-appreciated! The comic is called Lalita at the end of the Universe! It's only a couple of pages long so far, but it is super cute! I really love her style and design, the colours she uses, and the facial expressions. The characters seem colourful insid…

OH! That one of Robert's is CRAZY! I love the amount of detail he puts into some of his panels XD But dang dude, you nabbed the person I totally would have put here D: I will go on the hunt through my list and post soon U_Ú

There are a couple down South around Bournemouth, film and comic festivals and cons. Though I don't know about how busy they are as I've not been to one yet. I think my friend mentioned about one place where you could get a bunch of comics for super cheap just for one day, but from the sounds of it,…

Ah yea dude, my sister is Aspergers and has huge issues with crowds too >_o also not fun when people don't see her coz she's in a wheelchair at hip height! XD The way we handle it is by sort of surrounding her (there is me, my mum, 2 sisters and 2 friends) who make a bit of a human wall to stop her …

I would really recommend Annecy if you can get there, I really want to go back one day. It can be expensive, but to save money I went as a student and also stayed at a camp site XD which is fine if you don't mind all the drunk students at 1am in the morning >_o;; I am surprised France doesn't have…

@igneriss Yea I can't stand that, people ask for help and yet they don't like it if you say stuff that would benefit them D: Though saying that, I do remember finding it difficult when I first started out, I wasn't use to constructive criticism because it felt like I was doing something wrong : P …

U_Ú I'm 29....MY LAST YEAR IN MY 20'S -INTERNAL WEEPING-

In short. Yes. XD My day job is full-time creative designer/illustrator, and in the evenings and weekends I draw my comic : P

@igneriss - Yea it really is so darn frustrating! There must be a community somewhere dedicated to people on our time zone but I've not found it yet! I've had to stay up late before too, but it's difficult when you have work or school the next day XD It's really fun if I want to talk to my friend fr…
