I just really wanna know everyone's perspective on this. I like LIKES and all but I am way more interested in hearing what people have to say about the comic. To be honest, I sometimes just inadvertently click the Like button, but I feel that a comment is always more genuine and thoughtful. But wh…
Im all about Mediveal Content with a specific love for the middle ages. A common theme in my stories is always centered around perservation of family and a young hero going on an epic adventure to protect that which he loves and learnign some brutal life lessons along the way. Another genre that I…
Hmm...Like this?
DOES that work? I think i did it right
Okay let me see https://tapas.io/episode/2117946
Hey, You know I was thinking of doing something like a follow for following. But you beat me to it, awesome anyways. My comic is called King of Roo But just quick question, how do I link the comic as you have linked it? King of Roo
I hate this! I draw a really good panel on Procreate at the 940 x 1500 px, but when I upload to Tapas it becomes downgraded and it is so much less sharp! Does anybody got a fix for this? Here's an example. [image][image] The first picture is the one uploaded to tapas The second picture is the …
Process? I mean, I draw and re-draw, than color, then upload. But, if I don't feel like it, then I think about drawing, and re-drawing, than coloring and uploading. Its a GREAT process....if you want to stay stuck at 3 subscribers.
Okay, time to be the Raging Skeptic on Tapas. Allow me to vent. My Series is definitively the GREATEST series in all of Tapas. If you do not subscribe to this amazing series then you are Series ly missing out. There, I did it, all of that for a stupid joke. Please subscribe to my series, I need mon…
WHAT?!!!! Are YOU KIDDING ME!!! THE BOOK OF STORY TELLING 100001 CLEARLY STATES IN PARAGRAPH 5205TH, LINE 12, LAST PART OF THE LINE, THAT AND I QUOTE, "ALL CHARACTERS MUST HAVE A LONG STANDING LOVE INTEREST/ ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP AND IF THEY DO NOT, THEN THE BOOK WILL BE CAST INTO THE NILE RIVER WHE…
Yeah, okay, I will jump in. Here's my main character Prince Elias [image] Oh, and here is my rendition of one of your characters Check out my comic as well, It's about an Elf who goes on a mission to stop his kingdom from falling into an epic Civil war...again. King of Roo [image]
This is such a weird topic. But hey, that's coming from the guy who wrote over 500 pages of lore and still adding stuff. So, yeah, I love lore and try to incorporate as much of my lore into the story as possible. If you really want to know, I am not affected personally, I just like thinking of i…
Honestly, man, if you really hate it, just start over. I personally don't like wasting my time with things that I don't think will go anywhere. I'll just end up going crazy. But, if you intend on writing a similar story afterward, just use some elements like characters from the scrapped one.
[image] Technically four pages of a sample chapter up on my page King of Roo
Yeha, but you really dont gotta spend so much time on it. i think your art works great for your style and looks much more clean than mine. That's something I still gotta work on, cleaning up.
man, I don't limit my breaks. I get back to drawing whenever I'm ready, no need in rushing things I like to do
I mean...I take breaks, so...it eventually adds up to six hours
Not at all, I loved to draw like that. I just kept drawing and like a nerd, studied anatomy to learn muscle drawing, so It was a process
A good 5-6 hours. If I do the line art quick, its about 2-3 hours
I honestly just add way too much detail to my original line art, then I go and add even more detail to the coloring phase. I do like at least 3 levels of shading.
[image] [image] the first one is early drawings of my characters in the King of Roo. The second one is of a specific mole creature in the latter half of the series.
[image] This folks is what is called a Moler. From the King of Roo comic series
[image] The Royal Prince of the Rooyan Empire. Incredibly religious and devoted to his kingdom, not to mention his incredible sense of style.
[image] Molers. Mole creatures of the deep Earth in the comic King of Roo.
Ya got anything to say about the other creatures above?
Which of the above creatures is your favorite? If ya want some more info, just let me know!
Naw, I have them worked into the later part of the story, so some things can still change.
what do you think of the two legged design I drew. I was trying to go for menacing and lone warrior type. Here, Imma paste a description I wrote about it (its a long read, but I think it explains my stance on the creatures), let me know your thoughts... Ardgents are giant humanoid dragon creatures…
Sure, that could work, but honestly, I just think the two-legged ones look more menacing and have more function than four legs.
It is cause I was describing one of my fantasy creatures in it (ardgents) and I thought it was catchy. But let me ask you, what you yourself would prefer. A talking humanoid dragon or traditional four legged one?
