You start with a good story and build up on that foundation.
I went to college for graphic design and learned about typography. That knowledge helps me to choose a typeface or create one for a title that communicates what I want.
I'm glad my comments were helpful. I do have to repeat, that you have no transitions. A transition would be a panel that bridges the actions between two panels.
Introductory Look at New Features in ArtRage 5 Beta • Custom Brush Tool & Custom Brush Designer • More Realistic Pencil and Pastel • Layer Effects • Layout Panel: Perspective, Guides, Snap Distance for Grids/Guides/Perspective • Warp • UI Redesign • Docking Mode • Night Mode • Multiple Do…
The quality of the story and art determine popularity.
Vector art is not hard to create.
Here's a time lapse I've done.
Looks good so far. When will it be done?
I get the sense something is about to happen. Good storytelling.
You don't really have any transitions. Every character just pops up in a panel. You have no backgrounds, so we don't know where they are. You have no establishing shot, so the reader does not know these characters live in the same house, much less are in the same room. Backgrounds are characters…
Okay, based on this response, 5 different readers will have 5 different perceptions of you. You can't control their perceptions. I feel your thought process on this is not clear. No one is ever going to know what your priority is or how hard you work based on your looking at your art. Most people, t…
Go to park or mall and draw the people you see. Then you will fill up your brain file with a variety of people.
I've wanted to make comics since I was 5 years old.
The reasons you give as type of artist you want to be have more to do with marketing and other people's actions - not art.
I have a Giveaway to start off the New Year! I will give away a free ArtRage 5 license. You have until January 31st to become one of the lucky winners. I want to find out how you feel about winter. Are you a Wonderland type of person or a Wasteland type? Create a winter themed illustration. This…
Romantical Tales by me. A satirical look at Romance comics.
Artists have been and always will be their own worst critics. Worry less and draw more.
I do it all the time. Sometimes they get names, but that is rare. It's just part of the process of being an artist. You are always creating.
You will run into copyright issues without a good contract about ownership.
The comics that are attract readers are the ones with a well told story. Genre doesn't matter. Even bad art can't hold back a good story, up to a point.
I have Medibang on Windows 10. No problems.
Every character I create has some aspect of me in it.
I am not making an assumption.
Most people work 8 hours a day. Do you? If so, do you get paid? You are not going to get a committed artist to this, because as soon as a paying job comes along, they will drop this one. Writers all over the Internet have told this sad tale over and over again. If you were just asking for an art…
On my iPad , this link does not go to your comic. It opens my Tapas app to the Tapastic home page.
It takes about at least 8 hours just to pencil a page. You can't expect a serious commitment, if you can't respect. An artist's time commitment.
