You can read my novel on Tapas here: https://tapas.io/series/Kingdom-of-the-Red-Rose/info
You can read the comic I wrote here: https://tapas.io/series/MissingPieces/info
My name is Christophoros Demetriou and my intense love for stories has led me to create Copper Mouflon, under which I publish stories I’ve written.
Hi there everyone ^^ I'm on a big fantasy convention with my comic next weekend and I want to help to promote comics/Novels of other artists aswell. Especially in those dark times. My idea is to print out postal cards with your series titlepage, info and a QR-Code for people to scan (see example…
Here's a few of my favorites from Heaven Hunters Issue 3. Lots of action in that issue! [image] [image] [image] [image] [image]
Hello there. (I just recently started with this, pls bear with me) ...I'll just get to the point. I created a Twitter account so that I can promote works of creators from Tapas. If you too want your work to get promoted, you can fill out the google form below. (and I'll sub and read your series o…
Months to go, perhaps I will remember the series name and read after something around 10 months🤪
Sorry I am 17 so I don't think I can read your story . Good luck with your comic
thank you for allowing me to see this. I sent it to my mom with no context!
Robert A. Heinlein's 5 Rules For Writers: You must write. You must finish what you write. You must refrain from rewriting, except to editorial order. You must put the work on the market. You must keep the work on the market until it is sold.
Outside of “Write What You Know,” many creative writing teachers have the same piece of advice for aspiring writers: “Show, Don’t Tell.” As an editor, it’s easy to recognize the moments where writers are having a harder time with the story, where they’re struggling with something that isn’t quite …
I won't say I'm a professional writer or anything, but here are some tips that will help you out in writing [:smile_01:] This one is for what I think is one of the most useful ways to edit your story. So you've finally finished writing your dream novel. Congrats! Now what? Maybe you succeeded …
My answer is delayed but dont think the responses arent apreciated. Thanks for taking your time to do it, im way calmer than i was about my comic now. Yeah im doing it for myself but i would like someone to read it. With that said no, my goal its not to trend so ill do my thing!!!
Yes this is really what I have been noticing. So the question is how do I get "in the zone" when I have a ton of free time in my day?? I did go to the gym today and I do think that that helped, buuuuut I didn't get much sleep the night before so after going to the gym I took a power nap before wor…
Not likely. The parent company of webtoons, naver, recently acquisitioned wattpad. Doesn’t really make sense to buy a website dedicated to novel writing then to just throw it under the bus by unnecessarily adding a “novel” section to your other website. Maybe webtoons and wattpad will come together …
Pastel peach? Or, and I know this isn't what you'd call it now, but when I was a kid it would have been labelled 'skin colour' in a pack of pencils.
Those are some really good descriptions which I am totally not about to steal
hello im folowing u hop u like min ^^ https://tapas.io/episode/1944423 ^^
I do have a few characters named after me. Though, I don't use the direct spelling. In my eyes, all of my characters have a piece of me in some way. And if they don't, the events they go through and their stories' themes are somehow related to my beliefs and developments. So a character sharin…
Truth to be told, that kind of advice is mostly geared towards people who mostly have an interest in making a webcomic that could "make it big" (= get a lot of followers in a short amount of time, get a staff recommendation, hopefully become popular enough to get some Patrons or even become a featur…
I had a go at driving a tank, hovercraft and a dune buggy (?) at a hen party once.
I’ve also tried a forklift and a cherry picker (?).
That character looks powerful!
The newest major character to be introduced in Heaven Hunters is Lucifer himself. He's kind, gentle, and by far the most powerful character in the comic so far. He does big magic. The markings on his face are vitiligo. Savina and Nira are not his children, but he cares for them like his own daughte…
This is actually a really interesting idea. That's true, but I was just at such a complete loss for the longest time that I finally decided to ask for suggestions. As you said @DokiDokiTsuna took a really good approach. To be honest, with this story in particular, everything always seem to go …
YES! A good majority of my work comes from my dreams. If I reach a spot that has me wondering which way to go or how to resolve something my jerk of a subconscious thought would be a great idea, I fall asleep in the shower and wake up with a solution.
I love meeting someone like me!!!
I second that! Thanks so much for offering your time for those super detailed reviews. I've already learned so much just by reading the responses ^^
Hahaha, thank you very much! I was honestly expecting something much harsher, I guess that's me being critical of my own work. I know some panels have issues and wonkiness, particularly in the first parts of issue 1 when I was still getting my feet under me making comics. The dialogue in issue 1 fee…
Same here, hence why I got a writer, it's less stressful, plus it's nice having someone to butt heads with n debate comic ideas with
I get what you mean! For me, I love creating stories, so I think about my characters and ideas a lot. Music is especially inspiring for this. However, for me as cool as these ideas are and no matter how much of the story I know, structuring it on paper and making sure it's understandable to the audi…
