@obsorber I found the same thing with the dialogue tags. Here is a wonderful article by my friend that helped me out a lot. http://jasminearch.com/index.php/2018/06/14/thats-what-she-said-the-use-of-dialogue-tags/ I would encourage you to look into some of the other posts as well. A lot of good stu…

Yes, I also had some info overload. I think lot of the story details could be brought out more organically. Like, for example, instead of telling us about Kevin's eSports thing and how it got them the vacation, maybe have them talk in the cab about it and show how they feel.

Ok, sounds good. I'll get reading.

Are you looking for more of an in-depth critique, our impression and general thoughts, or just whatevs?

@obsorber https://tapas.io/series/Heart-of-Vampire Here is my series. Would love to get more feedback on it as well and always appreciate constructive criticism or just hearing how much a reader enjoys it. I'll check out Flight: United 999 when I get home!

Please look at the rules at the top and give some feedback to one of the previous reviewers.

Could you provide @Lio_Lion with a review for Free Falling before we get to your story?

Thanks, I appreciate that! Actually, @Toastbuster went through all of my chapters, offering crits and reviews in the episodes' comments section, and @R.E.G did as well, so I will encourage you to check out their works also. I think it's fine to do that instead of posting on this thread. Maybe everyo…

Thanks folks, I'll try to get to both series today, if not, in the near future. And once again Toast, I'm combing through your comments now, appreciate the feedback and the read

Hey wanted to give a bump to this post. Anyone looking to get their novel reviewed? I can swap reviews with somebody

Just a reminder to everyone that you are the final judge, jury, and executioner when it comes to your story. If a piece of criticism or advice resonates with you, take it into considerations when editing. But your story is your vision. Don't let critiques that you feel are off the mark change your s…

Will you be my friens? I guess it depens if you can comprehens my series: https://tapas.io/series/Heart-of-Vampire

Chapter 3: Ok, so the story is picking up. Cool goggles, Alan. We are learning more about the covey, their goal, and how they operate. I think you have a diverse set of characters here. I think giving them alone time with Edith in later chapters will help flesh out their personalities. I think you d…

@ruanrunaruan Boom! Reviving this thread. I will give you some crits and comments stream of consciousness style. Here is my series: https://tapas.io/series/Heart-of-Vampire Chapter 1: Good hook. Your prose is really nice. I like the pictures that go with your dialogue, pretty unique touch. Very…

I love it, Nail! The colours are great and I think it does fit. I knew leaving the design in your hands was the right call. This will actually aid in the descriptions of the church I'll do in the later episodes. By the way, is there anything you would like me to plug on my profile page/discord/faceb…

By the way, I am impartial as to what you do with the text. Don't care if my name is on it or not.

You are awesome! I am not sure if your offer stands but I'd sure love to see what you could create for my series, Heart of Vampire: https://tapas.io/series/Heart-of-Vampire I am inclined to just let you do your thing and create, since you nailed the other covers you have made (sorry). Buuuut if y…

Ahhhh, I guess I didn't consider the other writers, who may lack correct grammar. I certainly don't want to give off that first impression. If it's ever published, I will probably use the title I have now, but clicks are important... Hmmm, I will give it some thought.

Thanks for the review, really appreciate your honest feedback. I'll have to look for that typo facepalm I have been warned by others that the mature tag might scare potential readers off. I have to re-read the Terms and Conditions. I don't really know what I can get away with but, generally, anythin…

Wow, those slots filled up quickly. I love your style, no wonder you got so many requests! If you decide to draw more novel characters, could you private message me? No pressure, but if you have some more free time, I'd really like to see your rendition of one of my characters.

BTW you don't need to draw him sleepy  He just happens to be in this scene. He uses a rapier, if you want to do an action pose.

I'd love it if you sketched my character, James. Here is a description: A vampire with an extensively-embroidered, crimson and gold housecoat stood in the doorway, a velvet sleeping mask hanging around his neck. He stood tall and upright, especially for an old man, his chest stuck out proudly. His …

I'm not a big consumer of comics, but I will gladly give you my 2 cents. Just some stream of consciousness critiques: I like the emotional impact of the story right off the bat. In some panels, I think you could have better facial definition in order to really bring out those emotions. I like the fo…

I'd like to throw my hat in the ring. My story is a WW2 period action/fantasy mashup. It follows vampires, who are both hunted down by the axis and used as weapons by the allies. I'll be sure to read some of the series in this thread, so stay tuned!

I'm glad to hear it, but remember, it's your vision and you know what's best for your comic. Good luck!!

Awesome, thanks so much! And @Dreams-of-Gaia sorry for skipping over yours. We must've posted around the same time.

This is my series. It's a WW2 story, but told in a fantasy way. In it, vampires fight for the allies, and are turned into living weapons. Hope to read some of you folks' stuff. Thanks!

^ Hi there, @MeltingCORE  Fancy seeing you here.

Here is my series: https://tapas.io/series/Heart-of-Vampire It's a vampire novel set during WW2 in which vampires fight for the allies. It also focuses on some of those who hunt them. I hope you read and enjoy! I'll be checking out a few series from this page as well!

I am looking for more reviews of my novel. I realized (too late) that this is a comic review thread, but I hope people will still read it. If novels aren't your thing, no worries. Anyway, here is my 2 cents. @WhiskeyClone At first I thought your drawings were a bit crude, but they really grew on …
