Caelan is 29 years old when the story begins, while Leopold is 18, but with the mental age of a 12 years old (This is how Caelan would say it btw).

The typical Shapeshifter lifespan is ~400 years. Certain classes live longer. The rate at which a shapeshifter matures is very similar to that of house cats. The first 5% of their lifetime, IE 20-25 years, they mature at the same rate as a human. For the next 90% of their lifetime they will live as adults. Around 200-250 years (the human equivalent of late 40's) they start showing signs of middle age. 350-375 (the human equivalent of late 50's-early 70's) they appear as senior citizens. The final 5%, from 275-400-ish, they appear as very old, equivalent to a human in their late 70's-90+. Even as they approach end of life they will remain healthy and strong though, thanks to their robust healing powers.
Lucinda is timeless (Lucinda is a Hecate, and they are immortal). She can appear as any age she chooses, but she generally prefers to look like a frail old woman in her eighties. This makes her enemies tend to underestimate her strength and abilities.
Hunter (new character) is fifteen years old. His lifespan is unknown because nobody knows what species he is. The only thing they can be sure of is that he isn't human
In the current canon of the year 1900 in Elsie my characters have aged up a bit.
Ernest is 31. Roy and Rosie are both 29. (They are twins) Elsie is 27.
Jane who started as 18 at the beginning of Elsie, she is now 22.
Doctor Oliver Greenwood is 25 years old.
Mrs. Evans is only 54 in 1900. She married James in 1869 and had Roy and Rosie in 1871. I know. Even I’m shocked she’s only in her fifties! 
James (Roy and Rosemary’s father) was only 48 when he was murdered in 1892. RIP. He would’ve been 52 at the beginning of Elsie (1896-1897) and 56 in the current year 1900.

Erica, Andrew, Miri, and Dakota are 16.
Pierre and Evangeline are 15.

Rose is currently 23 in her chapters but by the time the two stories will synchronize she will be 26.
Nives is 21 in Rose's chapter, and 25 in Corrine's chapters.
Alex pretends to be 22, the same age as Corrine, but in actuality is in fact 26.

I recently did a character ref with their ages for a long forgotten story idea I had! I still have the outline for whenever I want to get back into it, but I think there ages have changed from when I first initially wrote this particular story. The webcomic is so sad it’s just a cover 
it was Persephone Dial. I guess I came up with the ages based on timelines for the story? Depending when they finished school and what not :0 but I guess it is a bit random too, just because I wanted to pick that age for them.
