Mines is a mixture of Superheroes : boys gaining unusual abilities after hearing an eerie hum and Survival Horror : the boys become carriers of a virus that mutates the population (think zombie outbreak). The story follows three heroes, Owen Evan and Xun. BL : Evan and Xun have feelings for each other. The presence of other hunky carriers will stir things up Brotherhood is another major theme of the story. My love for Videogames & Found Footage Horror movies are a major influence too.

The glitch vfx on your chapter 01.1 was cool, I always enjoy seeing how people experiment with effects on their panels. ps. is their gems permanent? I notice Adrian gem missing in chap 01.2, 3rd panel. I could relate, I make silly mistakes all the time. Gave u a sub and keep up the hard work!

Slow burn is also an interesting term too to describe your character's romance build.
I was figuring out the ideal word to use for Evan and Xun's relationship as they hide their feelings from each other in beginning.

Sooo... Here's my novel:
It's a mix of European Fantasy into Chinese Fantasy (Xianxia), with Action and Adventure. Mostly influenced by my own mix of cultures. The story follows Ayden, transmigrated into another world after finding the dragon's egg that he and his comrades were looking for. The BL will slowly show through the story as it is a slow burn romance. Voilà!

I'm actually not sure if my novel would be considered BL as romance won't be the main focus in it. But the plot does revolve around the relationship between the MC, Shinichi, and another male lead. This guy hasn't been introduced in the novel yet though unfortunately It's a bit more subjective because I love subtext but they clearly end up falling for each other.

The story's an urban-fantasy-ish type of novel with some game elements. Do check it out if you have time all art was done by me as well!

How To Kill a King | Tapas

1. "How To Kill A King" is set in a fantasy Korea during the late Joseon dynasty (1850s), and follows Min-jun as he embarks on a mission to avenge his parents. He becomes the King's consort for the sole purpose of killing him. It's a BL tho, so things don't go according to plan, and the King turns out to be a charmer. There's a magic system in the form of gifts, which ties in nicely to the themes of destiny and morality within the story itself. The gifts are varied and are designed to fit the characters' personalities and experiences. Very little is known about them outside of the fact that they exist, but there are a few characters trying to figure them out. There's a lot of conflict in how to go about understanding their magical abilities. One character, for example, thinks that they are gifts from the Gods to assist those with pure intentions and souls (he's a bit of a religious zealot). Eventually, Min-jun himself enters the conversation and tries to push the boundaries of the magic system (although he has no magic himself) by asking a lot of questions and taking a more experimental approach to magic. The magic doesn't take center stage until much later though, and the story is currently in the very early stages of development.

mine is a fantasy/LGBT+/BL comic, that means it's LGBT+ in general and most characters are polyamory (their world's culture) but there's also an important BL story that we will slowly know as the plot develops. If I say much more I would make spoilers, so I'll leave it here I hope you give it a chance!

I have several works in Tapas but I currently can only focus on one.

The Emperor and His Thief | Tapas

For this story, there are several genres mixed in.
1. Historical Fantasy - The setting is set in ancient China in a fantasy world (does not exist in our world).
2. Wuxia (Martial Heroes) - The martial arts tend to be exaggerated but not as much as pure fantasy ones.
3. Drama - Imperial harem, war for thrones, war between Empires, evil plot rooted for generations.
4. Mystery - Trying to unfold al those dark plots aimed to MC and ML
5. Xuanhuan (Mysterious Fantasy) - It is only just a bit of hint for this one right back in the prologue which will help to transition into book 2 in the future.

To Rise Again in the Apocalypse | Tapas

1. Reverse Transmigration - For easier way to understand, it's isekai but from fantasy world, to modern world.
2. Zombie Apocalypse - I think this is self explanatory XD
3. Harem - MC have several ML candidates
4. Xuanhuan - Because MC is a person from cultivation world, the fantasy is mixed with western and eastern which falls under Xuanhuan category opposed to Xianxia.
5. Rebirth / Regressor - One of the main character experienced rebirth where they went back in time to redo and change their future.

RE:CYCLE | Tapas

1. Unlimited Flow - MC was transported into an unknown world where he has to complete tasks in smaller world in order to survive.
2. Quick Transmigration - MC will enter smaller world to complete tasks
3. Horror / Thriller - The worlds are a lot. It varies from escaping the room, escaping from resentful ghost, to escaping from psychopathic killer, or to survive from being killed by other survivor.

I read the the first two chapters so far. It's awesome! Keep it up! I like that you gave the characters speak in an ancient dialect. The narration also echoes an ancient feel yet still written in modern format that's easy to understand, good job! Fave line: 'the deeper he went, the more the tunnel's size decreased" brilliant

Also nice mix of cultures! The mix is a great middle ground to bring people of diverse backgrounds together, especially the folklore stuff.
I have Indian ancestry so similar to you, I try to mix western culture with ancient East Indian/ Vedic concepts, in this story's case: The power of frequency waves and legend of the 9 immortals. Xianxia touches on the 9 immortals too right? I saw Xian means immortal, that was originally going to be one of the MCs (Xun's) name.

Mine is a novel. It's fantasy with a mlm romance and a whole host of LGBTQ+ characters.

Ayen is an elf who steals for a living and Waylon is an assassin with a bounty on his head and they meet when Ayen decides that he wants that bounty. They go from rivals, to tentative lovers, to partners in everything when it comes time to stop a greedy Baroness from enslaving the half-elves who live in East Wood.

Lol I got one right here! It's always a pain to kind of slap it into a category (We all know which one the viewers are in) The main character is gay, yes, but there is more to the story than that : ) I kinda prefer it to be a natural relationship over the main focus, with some fan service here and there of course. Not constant face on face action, so whilst it does contain BL, I don't like to falsely lead people into thinking it's just that lol.

Oh boy, I can say its kinda hard to sell a slow BL with a heavy background with other genres. I like to say that Flower Field is a love story that happens because the universe and not a separate part of it. The fantasy as a main bg genre and the political circunstances set the tone and mood for the boys to grow on it and find love one day
