Can I ask? What is your story about? What kind of stories do you make? I do Sci-fi, at least for tapas, I have other projects in my native language.

It's werewolf isekai. Just something simple to get the creative juices flowing before I return to Psetha, my main project.

I do Sci-Fi as well. I am actually a scientist by profession, have done research on artificial intelligence for years.

The mask on the left side of the drawing really exists. It is the face of one of my robots, which I developed and programmed.

That sounds awesome! I will give a look to your series when I have time (currently occupied with uni stuff)

I'd really appreciate that. Uni...I need to go back to it as well, this October

What are you studying? I'm going for the title of Professor in History and, after that, the Degree in history, specialty of my thesis, ancient Mesopotamian or medieval history.

@mbindhammer that's an awesome robot!

I'm studying English Literature. I would study creative writing but there's none in Turkey

Same here, there is not creative writing in Argentina (I think there is, but it's in the country capital and I'm not there). I was hoping that Modern Literature would help me in my craft, but it was naught and I drop that career. I then realize my passion for history and I started studying it. I'm currently writing a test about the ancient Incas and the conquest of Peru, it's a pretty awesome subject, there is a lot of backstabbing of the conquerors turning on each other for gold and silver.
What about you? What are you reading for English Literature? We don't have that career here, we have a mix of everything in the curriculum of modern letters.

Mostly Shakespeare. I don't remember much since I took a long break haha :sweat_drops:

That's okey! I too took a looooong break from my studies for... a myriad of reasons relating my mental health. Shakespeare must be an awesome subject, his plays were groundbraking for what little I know about English Literature. Can you tell me something you remember? I'm a voracious schoolar, I love every bit of knowledge I can put my hands on

Well, let's see. Shakespeare is a mystery to this day, some people even say that Shakespeare was more than one person.
I love his poem where he likens his loved one to a perfect, endless summer day and ends the poem by saying you're perfect because I made you ageless by writing about you. It's so cheeky that I love it haha

Haha! Well it seems he succeded, we are still reading about his loved one to this day and he is ageless to our imagination. I will cherish this new knowledge. I'm courious about that Shakespeare was more than one person, that sounds intriguing. What are you reading now? I'm with the history of Peru, but I'm thinking in picking something of Tolkien (I have the library from him, but I didn't read his works appart for the Hobbit and TLOTR)

I hope it helps you with the tough time. I always write escapist stuff when things are rough.

Thanks  The dungeon parts are a little worrying but I'm having fun anyways

Yeah, I totally understand if it’s too grim. I am kindda glad to be out of that bit of the story in my editing.

Anxiety.

But I'm in a small house and need to exercise more than to the fridge for a beer. I went for a walk (which felt like some kind of intense pilgrimage). <<- I'm talking zooming periphery, can't breathe, everything is so damn loud. But I walked anyways. So I focused on the sidewalk, one foot in front of the other until I reached the corner. Crossed the street and then repeat. Looked up to this amazing dracaena and right next to it was this funky post with an ornate glass paned box. Behind the glass was a print out of a random quote:

"I'd rather be someone's shot of whiskey than everyone's cup of tea."

What the hell? So I walked home, more curious about the randomness of it all than all the traffic and sirens and helicopters and smoke (SoCal). I went back a few days later and there it was again, but with a different quote.

"Prior proper planning prevents piss poor performance. Love, the Army Corps of Engineers."

And then I fell in love with the idea that someone was putting a bit of random into a walk that for me was excruciating. Not a cure at all, but I look forward to stepping outside of my house more times than I have in a very long time.

Anyways, just a share. But I'm on Tapas as a refocus, I am very appreciative of such an amazing creative outlet and digging conversations like these.

Thanks!!

I felt this in my soul  but I love that you found random little quotes as motivation!!! It’s like a variation on finding kindness rocks
