Yeah, well, my first venture into webcomics is pretty dang terrible - I can forgive the less than stellar art (it's ten years old; it's to be expected), but it's also a complete mess in terms of plot and character, mostly because I went in without planning things properly first, so I was literally just making stuff up as I went along.
I'd written myself into a corner by chapter 3, and ran out of enthusiasm at about the same time, and abandoned the project.
I'm more fond of my slightly newer projects! I did a graphic novel a couple of years back - started in 2010, and then it took me a couple of years of on-and-off work to finish it - and while there are definite flaws in it, I'm still kind of proud of it! I mean, I finished a whole graphic novel! 168 pages! I managed to tell a pretty coherent story from start to finish! I proved to myself that I could finish a project I'd started, which is an important accomplishment in itself.
Mostly, when I look back at really old work, I try to see them as steps on the way to progress. I'm a lot better at what I do now, only because I've drawn and written all of this stuff that isn't very good.
