Sorry for the off-top, but I mean... It's such a great idea. Thanks for not excluding Russia, it means a lot :cry_swag: :blue_heart: :yellow_heart:

To a lot of my friends would be awesome that tapas or webtoon not exclude Cuba and Venezuela ...

if you are of Slavic origin and live even in the USA, this does not exclude you from joining the collab, unless I have misunderstood something, for which I apologise.

Have you thought about organising something yourself? that's why I created this collab with a friend, because Europe also exccluded in many webtoono or tapas collabs.

I believe they meant in the sense that Cuba and Venezuela not only are ignored as creators in Canvas, but they can't apply for Ad Revenue or even claim prizes in case they win any of the Contests made by them nor be hired as staff or be promoted as Original Creators.

Some time ago I thought the internet (if you have it) was free of discrimination by location, now when it's becoming less anonymous and free and is a big part of life, we are getting more issues in it from real life. Just thinking aloud. That's sad

Y has pensado que estaban excluidos porque EEUU los odia y obliga a bloquear económicamente a los países que no le gustan? Es la política de la empresa, no de los eventos ni los organizadores.

Let's be courteous and not put more off-topic in this thread ^^ this is a topic for another thread that Lomcia and this collab has nothing to do with :+1:
I am sorry I started it.

I believe that calling this "discrimination" is a bit too... unrealistic.

There are legal, economical, political, social and cultural circumstances that doesn't provide to a proper exchange or agreement. As well there are cases that companies don't have the licenses to promote themselves in specific countries nor can export money to them due to International Affairs and relationships between the two countries involved and sometimes is not an issue from the company's country, but the one excluded. And, agreements to change a situation to allow the entry of USD to said countries by a specific company, can take years, especially if there are laws about declaring your USD, having to convert them to your currency, taxes, laundering issues and so many more things.

As well, we must have to understand that even if we try to blame USA for everything... Tapas and Webtoon while they have employees located in LA and similar places... these are not North American companies, Webtoon and Tapas are originally from Korea. So imagine... you have the korean companies controlling everything, with their laws, with their guidelines and stuff, then they need treasurers and representatives in their sub-companies, underlings, etc. who are also filtered down by the laws from their respective countries and to that you have to add that there are the other countries where creators come from and they also have their own regulations and laws.

hi guys, collab still on! do you want to join? DM me!!!
