Recently I binge watched the second season of SVTFOE and I loooooove it. I'm a sucker for lighthearted fantasy-sci fi comedies with episodic stories and an overarching plot line. Anybody write a comic or know comics that are like this show???

Well, Softies19 has the same sort of feel of at least the first season of SVTFOE. It's about a kid and some aliens exploring different planets.

I know Crow's Worth11 started off with more of a comedy feel and becomes more drama-focused later on; it's also pretty cartoony with a fantasy-esque world.

SPEJS7 has a lot of comedy elements and a sci-fi plot/setting, there is an episodic feel to it so far.

I might suggest Forever Autumn9 also; it has a some comedy, although it's just getting started, but it has a bit of a heavier feel and themes to it, so I'm not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for. But it does have that super cartoony style, is fantasy genre, and seems to be developing into an overarching plot.

My comic, Between Hay and Grass7, was intended to be an episodic-ish com-dram sci-fi mystery using a toonier style also, but dropped some of the more episodic elements, so again, not sure if it would be your cup of tea.

If you find anything else; let me know; none of these exactly have that mix of sci-fi/fantasy or the wild and whacky advdntures of STVOE but I'd love to see anything else that might be similar as well. smile

OK, I don't know much about that show but...

Stellar Persona11 is also a magical girl inspired comic. It has fantasy/scifi elements and stars kids.

Oh man, cucumber quest ( http://cucumber.gigidigi.com9 ) is exactly what youre looking for. Colorful, witty and extremely passionate heros- a pair of brother and sister (that are also bunny people!!) go on an adventure in an old school rpg style, with lots of pop culture references, villains treated as 'big bosses' and wonderfully sparkly magic! It also manages to tug at your heartstrings when you least expect it :') i havent seen all of star vs, but I definitely recommend.

Our comic is directly inspired by SvtFoE, Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, etc.
