Hey, I'll be turning 35 in less than a month.
Been through the wringer that is the UK comics industry and ended up being like "ugh forget this, I'm just gonna make what I want to make as a webcomic"

I'm 62 years old this is my first published artwork from 1964 when I was 7 years old. My Mom sent my drawing into one of her romance magazines and I won $10! Ten dollars to a seven year old in 1964 was like an unimaginable fortune!

This is also my first post on Tapas, joining only a few days ago. I've only recently gotten into webcomics and Tapas is a nice place, as some members and I have already shared some good stuff.

I'm glad to be here and I hope I'll be around for a while. The best to you all!

I'm in my early 30s. I've always wanted to make comics but it's taken this long for me to feel kind of settled enough into life to have any time for it. I feel really rusty at art and storytelling since I haven't really tried this since I was a teen, so I'm kind of fumbling through and just trying to have fun! Here's my tiny comic so far:

32 over here and enjoying posting on this platform so far

I'm over 30 now... but I started drawing this series in 2007 XD

I'm nearing my thirties hope I can post in this thread. Will be 30 in march. Started drawing comics because felt i couldn't draw without a purpose anymore

I'm 41.

If you like reading quotes by Mevlana Rumi, Alan Watts, Ekhart Tolle, or other spiritual gurus, than this strip illustrates some of their musings.

I'm 33 and I'm just trying to make something awesome and I hope Plimtor does it. Please check it out and thank you.

Hi all old one, I am too old for this Meow!
I fact only somewhere between 30 and 40
But sometimes I feel old in this forum.
It is good to see others.

I am in the 30's club! I'm a novelist currently in the throes of NaNoWriMo but I want to start looking for an agent hopefully next year.

OMG! It is soo cool to see so many people in this threat! @colinmooredraws is right, it's great to see young people out there wanting to be creative and brave and everything but sometimes I want to be with people of my own age (or similar enough). Sometimes I feel as if there was somekind of timebomb in your body and if you don't success before 25 you are dead which is bull***** I'm better now that I was in my twenties bc I have grown, I have learnt and I have live! And I'm not scare about what the future holds for me (god, I speak like if I was 60 and I'm only 32 xxD).

TL;DR This threat is amazing, you are amazing and we should keep it alive

also, my work

@Amerietan is soo coll you are working with your dad! I'm trying to help my mom but is not easy with our personalities and everything xxD

Me too, those disjointed yet vivid images of Tom chasing Jerry in a choo-choo train keep flashing in my mind every now and then. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hello friend. My name is Chris and I am a 31 year old comic creator. I've been doing comics since I was 20 and found minor success with my work. I'm running 2 webcomics right now and scheduled the first comic I ever created to start publishing here in January. Feel free to say hello and we can chat. Here's my work, if you're interested:

For some reason I've never added myself to the 30+ thread, hello hello, I'm 33. I have no idea how that happened. I swear I was 23 just yesterday.

mm, i will be joining your club in a month and a half >:-3

Can we call this the carousel club?

I'm not to report for renewal yet, but I'm about there...I think about it probably more than I should. Getting old makes me nervous.

What? This is....? What?

Logan's Run. It's a dystopia sci-fi film where you basically get executed when you turn 30 and they call it carousel.

We did make some weird stuff in the 70’
