OMG! It is soo cool to see so many people in this threat! @colinmooredraws is right, it's great to see young people out there wanting to be creative and brave and everything but sometimes I want to be with people of my own age (or similar enough). Sometimes I feel as if there was somekind of timebomb in your body and if you don't success before 25 you are dead which is bull***** I'm better now that I was in my twenties bc I have grown, I have learnt and I have live! And I'm not scare about what the future holds for me (god, I speak like if I was 60 and I'm only 32 xxD).

TL;DR This threat is amazing, you are amazing and we should keep it alive

also, my work

@Amerietan is soo coll you are working with your dad! I'm trying to help my mom but is not easy with our personalities and everything xxD

Me too, those disjointed yet vivid images of Tom chasing Jerry in a choo-choo train keep flashing in my mind every now and then. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hello friend. My name is Chris and I am a 31 year old comic creator. I've been doing comics since I was 20 and found minor success with my work. I'm running 2 webcomics right now and scheduled the first comic I ever created to start publishing here in January. Feel free to say hello and we can chat. Here's my work, if you're interested:

For some reason I've never added myself to the 30+ thread, hello hello, I'm 33. I have no idea how that happened. I swear I was 23 just yesterday.

mm, i will be joining your club in a month and a half >:-3

Can we call this the carousel club?

I'm not to report for renewal yet, but I'm about there...I think about it probably more than I should. Getting old makes me nervous.

What? This is....? What?

Logan's Run. It's a dystopia sci-fi film where you basically get executed when you turn 30 and they call it carousel.

We did make some weird stuff in the 70’

Hey! Awesome to see this thread. I'm a 31 year old creator. I've always been interested in comics and writing, but decided to finally make a real go of it. It's been inspiring to see the diversity of creators on here.

39 here, had a couple of webcomics when I was younger, then fell into routine and work for a long time. I recently was looking to reconnect with drawing, so I took some classes and in a few months my new comic was born!

I'm 37, have been reading webcomics since they became a thing in the early 2000's and always wanted to try it myself. I feel like I kinda missed the "golden age" of webcomics where the number of creators was still (relatively) small and it was actually possible to have your comic site blow up and you could quit your day job and do this for a living. Nowadays It's like being a YouTuber, it's already far too saturated and it's really hard to make an impact unless you're insanely talented and have something that stands out against the people who have been doing it for years already. So with that in mind I just do this for fun. I feel like my comic doesn't really mesh well with the audience here on Tapas (it's not a manga and doesn't contain any BL, the art is sub-par and it's too short to only come out once a week) but that's okay, I like pretending I'm "niche." I'm not gonna stop posting though, there are some people who like it and the upside to not having that many subs is that I don't have that many people to disappoint or cater to, which means I don't have to worry too much about what people think of it.

I'm 35 and wish I was living in or around Portland, Oregon (actually Lincoln City/Otis is where my parents used to live.)

I like a lot of different comic styles. I don't...really think anyone wants to read a bio of me, so I'll leave it at that XD

I work primarily on one comic :3

I also have a "pet" project:

@OttoGruenwald
Logan's Run was AWESOME! Nice choice

I am 37. Gonna be 38 in a few weeks. Yikes! I spent years as a graphic designer, a Marine, and Web Developer. Packed a lot of adventure into these 37 years. Now I've settled into working on art as a glorified hobby, and it's great.

I have my comic. Pretty Power Princess:

And all my other art is here.

It's my birthday tomorrow - I can't be bothered to do the adding up and taking away to work out how old I am, but it's something beginning with a 5. I wrote a cartoon strip for the Daily Mirror (UK) in the early 90s, but then Piers Morgan happened and now I'm on here. This is my comic. I hope you enjoy.

I'm Andy (31). I've been doodling cartoons for years but have only now started my first real comic about a witch, her girlfriend, magick and Scottish folklore

Let's just say that my thirties ended a while ago and leave it at that.

I'm a trans woman who lives in New Orleans and draws comics. I spent a decade in the Los Angeles animation scene learning to draw my ass off before burning out on that, spent another fourteen years in Boston and Seattle discovering how much I do not like Actual Winter, and just moved back home this year.

I just posted the entirety of my last graphic novel here after realizing that I could deal with it being a fundamentally horizontally-scrolling comic in this funamentally vertically-scrolling site by rotating every page 90º and adding a few extra pages at the beginning politely asking people to lock their device's rotation and then turn it.

And maybe I'll get enough eyeballs on my new project here someday to make it worth reformatting for mobile. Or at least to come back and post the other 3/4 of the first chapter someday.
