Ok, probably this is a bit out off topic, but I was talking about this in another thread and thought it might be worth to give it a chance.

I wanted to find out if there´s more people out here who´s got facebook or twitter accounts just with the purpose to promote their comics or novels. And, if there is, can you share your profile? I wanted to ask because it seemed to me like a good way of making new friends in the community.

I´ll add / follow whoever wants me to

I use my Twitter to promote my art in general, and to engage with the art community there. But since the only thing I have time to draw at the moment is my webcomic... it's kinda just focused on that at the moment. :sweat_02:

I have both! I know a lot of people hate Facebook, but it's actually cool how if new people like one of your posts you can simply invite them to follow your page. I used to not have many Facebook followers, but I'm at over 1,000 now mostly through posting my comics on meme/art groups. And Twitter can be great for retweets, you just have to hope you get lucky and have the right people see your work. I think I have a little over 8,000 followers on Twitter now, so I'm pretty happy with that!

Here's my Facebook2 and Twitter5 pages!

I avoid using Facebook for promo because I use my legal name there and a pseudonym for all my creative work (mostly so my family/coworkers don't track down the rest of my social media ahaha), but I use Twitter almost exclusively for posting art and things related to my creative projects. I talk about my games a lot more than my novel there, but it's here if you're interested: https://twitter.com/SkelebunStudios2
