I've noticed that a lot of popular comics on here are page comics, which is interesting because all popular webtoons are in scroll format. Although, it might be because I don't read the featured series on tapas.

Do you guys reckon page or scroll is preferred on this site?

I post a page comic here, which seems to be doing pretty well, and I keep the scroll format version to webtoon (since readers expect it there) I'm not planning on ever posting the scroll format here, but I was curious on what peoples opinions/experiences are.

My impression is that tapas - company is putting more emphasis on scroll format while community is open to both

true! A lot of the featured comics are scroll, but I've found that readers are pretty accepting of either format.

At first, I am hesitant to turn my pages to scroll pages but when I realize that people will be reading comics on their phone through Tapas App I am now eager to make scroll pages for viewers to read properly.

Tapas encourages creators to work in scroll format........ But in actuality, Tapas readers care a lot less about scroll vs pages than Webtoon readers.

There are plenty of comics on Tapas premium programs that are page based. A couple of examples from my own reading list are:

And

And one of the MOST popular comics on the entire platform is in page format (MATURE CONTENT):

Personally I just kind of went for the in-between option. I make two pages for print, I spread the panels out a bit vertically and I stack them. I call it "pseudo-long-scroll". :sweat_02:

Oh man, can I stop breaking up my pages for Tapas and just post them how I originally drew them? I always thought people preferred scroll comics here.
