The "Hecate" are a prestigious lineage of warlocks and witches.

Hmm, my favorite line doesn't work out of context. Instead, I post this one. It's memorable, could fit on a t-shirt, and summarizes the Alien Fiction series well.

With great power comes great sarcasm.

Readers, however, seemed to like this line best.

He discovered a stump which was so perfectly suited for sitting, it may have indeed been crafted by a beautiful dryad who through prophecy foresaw the gravitas of the youth's ennui and felt divinely inspired to shape the perfect stump for Candide's angst-filled butt.

In my most recent chapter includes a line that I've been holding for probably twenty years, but it doesn't work out of context either. Instead, I doubled up on answers to the first question.

I really like this part of an old story (that I'll go back to one day):

Seriously though, I like the opening and 1st chapter of AVPOHP, the other chapters still need a little bit of polishing, but I'll get there eventually.

Hmmmm probably this one :

I have a lot of favorite lines I've written from my series The Moth Princess, but one that I really enjoyed writing was in one of the most recent chapters.
"Sit up straight, my darling. You have no reason to be slouching. A girl like you should always hold her head high.”
I really loved how that short little flashback scene between the main character and her mother turned out in general <3.

Mostly just silly, as I don't think my work would really be known for its poetics. "In what language does an exaggerated 'uuuuuuuh' translate into 'yes creepy kids that clearly stalked me, please come into my apartment?'"

And also this, "Trying to convince those baby veggies to make your dreams come true? I'm sure blondie'll love that."
