Hi all! I just started posting on GlobalComix. Wanted to find out if anybody knows if the site is popular.
Also, does anyone have any experience with POP Comics? I'm worried about stuff like copyright and such. Like, for example, I found out that MangaComix claims to have the rights on your art.

Thank you for taking the time to read my question!
Also, check out my comic pls  (I'm new)

I'm getting roughly 1/3 of tapas monthly views on globalcomix, getting to lower half of popular section on updates days (in BL) on tapas and being featured in top 5 in my genres and was in top 20 of the year on globalcomix
Generally, less people, but bigger chance of standing out and getting promoted

Never heard about POP Comics

I really like the website. And I post there too. But if you look at the most popular comics, they have very little interaction, which is not encouraging. Maybe it'll get more popular? It seems fairly new.

Thank you! That is actually very insightful : )
I'm glad you didn't have any negative experiences.
Are you working on your comics for a long time now? I can see you've made a ton of episodes!

But that's dedication right there. Kudos to you!
I wrote two books, which is about 1500 pages and still need to write the third one to be able to say that half of my story is completed in some form. For the other half I decided to make it a comic instead, but boy oh boy is that going to take a while x'D : I
Tell me, was there ever a time you were thinking of quitting? If so, how did you managed to get trough it? : )

I post to GlobalComix, and it has become one of my favorite places to post, though they don't have as large a reader base as some of these other webcomic sites. I really appreciate that they have been working on ways to surface and feature smaller comics and creators. They also like to get feedback and suggestions from creators and readers with their devs on discord.

Ah, thank you! That's good to know. Well I suppose the reader base will grow naturally with new content. It doesn't hurt to post there as well, I guess. Especially since the devs actually care for the feedback.
Say, which is your No.1 favorite site to post to?

Not really... (unless we count that time in middle school when I quit drawing comics and focused on illustrations but I can't say much about what was I thinking... 15? years ago 'xD) Luckily I I got a decentish size of audience quite early on (I see folks here who's been posting their series for years with less than 100 subscribers and personally, if I was in such a situation I would have quitted long ago) and knowing that there are people waiting for my stories does keep me motivated. And drawing multiple series and switching between working on each of them keeps me from getting tired of either of them.

Hi there- creator of GlobalComix here.

Pretty much what I can say is that of the past 2 years, ~1.5 years ish has been very small and growing. We've made a lot of significant improvements, including collecting comics (the things readers come for!) that has had some great impact.

Every single month the last 6 has been record setting, and it's pretty much only up from here: we're building and launching a native app, and we're staffing up against growth and promotion in ways that are unprecedented for our history. If I had to pick a time to say "get in early", now would be it.

You're also welcome to hop onto our discord and chat with other creators or hit me up with any questions! https://discord.gg/RAHJgFe5

Aww - thanks on the compliments! As for the rest, see the above - within the next half year I expect this to have drastically changed - there's a lot of really awesome stuff in the works!

that sounds awesome! I really wish it the best!
And I really mean I love the site. It's clean and organized. Posting there is a breeze, the interface is very friendly. And emailing the creator metrics on the comics performance is amazing.

Really? I've seen GlobalComix and I don't know whether to post there or not in the future, but it catches my eye. I might as well try it. From what I read in your comments, it seems to be a very friendly site.

Hey! This is a pleasant surprise. Thanks for letting us know : )
Here's some insight from a new user:
I started posting in GlobalComix a few days later than in Tapas, at almost the same pace, (I think there's one episode less there) and the difference in views\likes\subscribers is not only apparent, but I literary have 1 sub and only my own views xD (at the time of writing this).
Nevertheless, it doesn't hurt to post there as well I suppose.
I'll check out your discord as well (hopefully you can help me out, maybe I'm doing something wrong), but I can't promise to be too active, as I should be actually drawing when I'm not working.

To leave it on a high note; as Fenris said, it is very user-friendly and perhaps the easiest place to post to.

We try!

Even the reader experience has improved so much just this year already!
